Scenes From Japan Part Four - DisneyLand/Sea

Post by Sir Pompously »

Here is Part four from my trip to Japan, and this time it consists of photos from Tokyo Disney Resort which incorporates many hotels, a shopping plaza (Ikspiari) and Tokyo DisneyLand/Tokyo DisneySea. DisneySea is the newer of the parks, and has a nautical theme with themed areas (Like Venice, Old New York etc). DisneyLand is basically what you would find in the Calirfornia park. To get to the Disney Resort you must alight at Maihama (舞浜) on the Keiyō Line (京葉線) then either walk or take the Disney Resort Monorail to either Disneyland or Disneysea. The monorail photos can be found in the Overseas Photos forum.

The SS Columbia and the Tower of Terror (It was scary enough from the loud screams for me to stay well away from it) are two prominent features of DisneySea

Small ferrys do loops around the maze of channels within DisneySea, and one is passing infront of Mount Prometheus the ride which incorporates a Volcano

The entry to DisneySea has a large revolving Earth fountain called the Disney Aquasphere, one of the best modern fountains I have seen!

Hope Y'all enjoyed
