Mercury Roadlines This was a chassis conversion from a 3 tonne Ford truck chassis (Perkins V6) with Mercury bodywork. The bus was originally set up as a normal control B39F bus. It later underwent modifications to have a freight partition for freight and seating reduction to B14F, done around 1967. The bus was withdrawn 1/78, but sat unregistered in the Mercury yard for nearly 30 years. It was removed by 2012. Norman Chambers photo.
