Was it intended to be a Perth CAT bus or are they planning on doing announcements on normal busses?
Maybe just on the Perth - Armadale express routes since I still see people complaining "the bus missed my stop".
3436 also has speakers installed.

Palmyra has for many years run supplementary trips in the peak on both Red and Yellow CATs in the City.

Was 2943 a cameo on Joondalup CAT? What are 2880-1 doing these days?

That doesn't have any relevance - the buses are Palmyra buses, on Palmyra shifts, not spares popping into Claisebrook.

2880/81 are regular service buses now, have been since a month after 4000/01 started on CAT duties.

Cheers!
Officially the last person to tag off the 381 - 20/5/16.
Second last person to tag off the last timetabled 16 - 23/08/19.
Last person to tag off a Transdev Joondalup service - 19/1/20.

None of these are unusual observations and dont belong in this thread, except for maybe 2943 on Joon CAT, which would simply be due to unavailability of an Electric Bus at the time.

As per PATH Transit days, Marmion and Joondalup Contract Services are shared between Joondalup, Beenyup, Trigg and Wangara Depots which means that Trigg Buses will appear on Joondalup Contract Services.

As per Merc1107's comment, 2057 would be assigned to a Palmyra Depot shift that runs a supplementary Perth CAT Service during peak times to assist with loading.

Please use the "General Discussion and Questions" Thread for fleet info. That's what it's there for.
If it's not a ZF, take it back!

1675 on 282, 1691 on 33, 1690 on 940. Looks like they all got shifted from Beckenham to Welshpool overnight.

Negative. They're going out of sequence. 1414 on 39F this arvo

And 1687 is still on 206 as it should. Still doesn't explain how I managed to board 1411 on 220 during the last few days of 2023, which I mentioned in the previous thread.

1411 has evidently been transferred to Swan if you caught it on a 220. There may be other bus movements between Swan depots that resulted in a different bus being transferred to PATH in return.

I suspect 3427-57 could be earmarked for Beckenham with 1669-99 given to Welshpool so 1404-34 can be moved to Gosnells. In turn, Gosnells B7s can be reassigned to Jandakot.

1669 is in Albany and 1695 - 1699 at Redcliffe.

2312 has returned to Malaga as sighted on a 375 this afternoon.

I definitely saw 1890 at Whitfords Station Yesterday at about 12PM if it is with PATH Transit why is was it doing a 468 route isnt 468 Operated By Swan and how is it possible for it to be operating that route Karrinyup and Joondalup Ditched their Gas Fleets 3 Years Ago

Perhaps this in reference to this photo? Depending on how the destination controllers are programmed, it can be possible to load up destination displays that are not locked to a particular route number, and manually input something. This can be useful if buses have to venture outside of their usual operating area for train replacement. I would wager this was merely a posed photograph, as there is otherwise no reason for a random PATH bus to turn up on a Swan route.

Had a look through the "routes.txt" file, which can be found in the General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) download on the Transperth website. The following is shown for route 468:

Code: Select all

route_id,agency_id,route_short_name,route_long_name,route_desc,route_type,route_url,route_color,route_text_color
SWA-JOO-3943,SWA-JOO,468,,,3,,009639,FFFFFF
Still shows as Swan. For comparison, here is what a PATH route shows as:

Code: Select all

PAT-MOR-1965,PAT-MOR,347,,,3,,009639,FFFFFF

Perhaps an enthusiast wanted a photo, and the destination was set by a like-minded driver to pose the shot. Plenty of examples of that can be found in enthusiast groups, or on 'perthbus.info' proper.
