Probably some Queensland ones although I have heard that one was sighted with NSW plates.
Hence I am leaving this post here.

There have been recent additions to the CDC NSW Fleet lists by means of those Volgren Optimus B8RLEs. The depot codes on those listings point out that the ones currently being borrowed up north at the moment to assist with their bustitutions are linked with CDC’s Sawtell (Forest Coaches) and Canberra (QCity) operations.

They probably needed the extra help from interstate given there are a series of bustitutions going on at the moment up there in Brisbane, along with their Cross River Rail project.

Similar thing happened earlier in the decade with the Dandenong Group (Cranbourne & Pakenham Lines) in Melbourne while there were a series of bustitutions going in between the Metro Tunnel portal being built in South Yarra, and the series of rushed level crossing removal works that shut the line down between Caulfield and Westall; Telfords from here and Kangaroo Bus Lines from Brisbane was subcontracted to bring their equipment to help out, since some of the work took place during the school term, and Ventura, already having their hands full with route and school services around that part of Melbourne, weren’t able to supply anymore without causing a shortage on their own network.

All Blanchs buses are now signwritten as CDC NSW. It won’t be long before Forest North Coast follow suit.

Not sure if it was mentioned around the time, but Transdev have a depot/holding yard a few hundred meters down from their old depot at Bankstown Airport on tower road, all various makes and models. There's a few ex-Queensland buses parked up against the fence still with old livery and advertisements.

Since Transdev don't have any services in Sydney anymore, are they just using this yard as a holding/disposal yard for their fleet nationwide, or are they to start charter operation in the future?

Although online timetable are still showing Hunter Valley Buses as the operator, the brand appears to have been retired.

Region 2, 4 and 11 buses now carry accreditation for CDC NSW Outer Region 2 Pty Ltd, CDC NSW Outer Region 4 Pty Ltd and CDC NSW Outer Region 11 Pty Ltd respectively. Region 2 and 4 buses now carry CDC NSW signwriting, although region 11 buses at this stage retain their Coastal Liner signage.

Note this only applies to Opal fitted buses operating TfNSW contracted services, it is possible that charter vehicles remain on old accreditations as happened in Sydney with Forest and Hillsbus.

Noticed it a couple of times now on the drive into the office, there's a rather forlorn and somewhat neglected bus parked outside St Euphemia College. Driving past, it looks like it's got a National Heavy Vehicle license plate, and I could make out XN 0650? No other markings on the vehicle except dirt and grime, and I couldn't see a manufacturers badge.

I assume it's a school bus for the school it's parked outside, but it hasn't moved in a few months, and looks pretty shabby and run down on the outside.

The last two characters in the National Heavy regos are usually alpha so the 50 does not appear to be correct.

Difficult to get a proper look when driving in the right hand lane of Stacey Street towards Hume Hwy. Looked like a 50 on my quick half-second glance at 60kmh.

That checks out. I'm assuming it's owned by the School, but it's looking rather sad & sorry out the front.

Actually ends in 5928 which could be L113CRB/Custom Coaches ex Southside Bus & Coach Pty Ltd - Banksmeadow TV 9668 which was
"Reg 9/3/18; ex LC Dysons Bus Service Pty Ltd, Bundoora, VIC (113) 4269 AO 24/7/17; ex NSU509.
Sold to a Central Coast party bus operator 12/19."
It may have passed on to a school since then.

Spotted TJH Port Botany bus 3096 running 000 Not in service heading northbound on Stacey Street Bankstown this morning. It turned left into Macauley Avenue. I presume it was heading to Bankstown Station to assist with the rail replacement buses.

They have been running rail replacement buses in Bankstown before so this wouldn’t be surprising to do it again today and next week. Also considering it’s school holidays, they like other companies might have extra drivers and buses to assist any rail replacement routes. More is better as they could send in Low Floor buses to help passengers with mobility rather than private operators with coaches.
