Thought I had the scoop on 4002!

4002 is on loan to Transdev at CATS for the next 2 weeks for evaluation on the CATS Routes.
If it's not a ZF, take it back!

Makes me think Claisebrook could be the next EV depot soon. All the same, the 10-year tenure for the CAT B7s is nearly up and they may be redeployed soon. Won't be surprised if they replace 114-116 at Freo.

NHs are being reactivated over the northern suburbs in preparation for the Midland and Airport Line shutdown from tomorrow. Seen so far are 1163 and 1226 in service with Path and Swan respectively. I've also heard that some might be headed here from Albany...
I'd post any important, bus-related links I had, but they're outdated anyways.

Absolutely trash photo (I was not at all prepared for this) but I spotted TP 1228 on a 467 this morning, so Swan has reactivated at least 2 NHs so far.

Your best luck for NHs afaik are the 1220s at Joondalup and various Path ones from Malaga. The reactivated Path ones I've noted seem to have been pulled from regional operators, e.g. TransGoldfields, whereas Swan's 1220s have always been in storage here. It could all change today, however...

"Hey mate, you can’t park there": r/Perth (Reddit)
Set 93 appears to have derailed at Nowergup's southern end last Saturday. According to the above Reddit post's OP (u/azureal), 93 split the points - hand-thrown points switched while 93 was still traversing, leading to the rear of the set heading into stow road 5. As of this morning it was still in that location. Thankfully due to the location of the incident, trains can still enter/exit some of the stow roads from the Perth side and it doesn't affect the running lines, while Nowergup's design means that trains can still enter/exit other stow roads via the Butler side of the depot.

Midland/Airport shutdown should also help mitigate rollingstock issues if the need arises, although apparently Nowergup management have adjusted schedules so that all trains shunt to/from the north, and no rollingstock needs to transfer between depots.

I saw 1847 on Campbell Rd, Canning Vale, doing 205 to Maddington at 7.38am this morning.

it was soooo unusual to see the 4-round headlight front end again. :D

TP-1120 was the last bus I drove for Metrobus, Saturday 27th June 1998.

Also an unidentified NH at Bull Creek on a layover. Wonder which route and operator it might be. Looks like a SWB type. I understand 1212 might still be in hibernation at Palmyra.

I also saw 1847 do a 205 yesterday, and 1344 do a 207 at the same time.
Yesterday evening I caught 1848 doing a 208.
This morning I caught 1354 doing a 207.
I also saw 1344 pulling into Thornlie Station

So Swan Transit has at least those 4 NH's in peak service at the moment.

The acceleration of those busses is great, made light work of busy roundabouts and intersections.

No CNG buses will be sent as there is no refuelling infrastructure down south - and even if they weren't withdrawing CNGs, it's doubtful this would be any different. As I understand it, you need a reasonably large number of gas buses running to make the cost worthwhile (in terms of payback from cheaper gas).

The OC500LE diesels are undergoing refurbishment presently. There may be some fleet movements to accommodate this process.

There's no telling what will replace what. There's also the possibility buses are being moved to accommodate a growth in services.

1465 and 2113 are Geraldton buses. 1465 and 2117 returned back to Geraldton after getting refurbished a couple of weeks ago. 2108 is a Karratha bus.
