AEC AV 760 Bleeding Issue !

Post by RunOutOfIdeas »

G`Day All
AEC AV 760 In A Coles Crane , Was running Fine , Starter Motor Died , Finally tracked one down , put it in and it started fine . The very next day , would not start ! Just turned over as if it needed bleeding , Blead ok but could not get fuel at the injectors ? Finally figured that the fuel stop had seized in the injector pump ( CAV 326 2636 ) Sorted that , got fuel up and it started ! But ?? Now the question ! It will only run for between 10 and 30 Minutes , have changed filters , and by passed feed lines and the tank ( In case of pickup issues ? ) have checked and cleaned the gauze filter in the front of the pump , no fuel leaks , no air bubbles visible , no weeps ! As it dies throttle is non responsive ! Bleed it again , fuel pump , injector pump , filters and finally injectors and away it will go , BUT only for 10 to 30 Minutes !! Any clues Guys ? I`m out of Ideas !!! Thanks in advance
