Well, guess they're on their penultimate (if not final) voyages. :|

Are they joining 1594-1603 in heaven?

Officially deregistered? These were among the first OCs in our state. 1594-1603 came later but these are already gone.

Perhaps the driver thought it was better to take the Graham Farmer on a dead run between the city and Beckenham? Or maybe headed back up to Trigg for storage? I wouldn't think it's changed hands at this stage in its life...
I'd post any important, bus-related links I had, but they're outdated anyways.

Could be running quarantine transfers as I've seen a Swan bus coming that way and onto the off-ramp to Great Eastern Highway before?

Come on guys... It takes all of ten seconds to search up who the current operator of a bus is on perthbus.info. 1840 has been Swan's for over ten years, not sure why you think it's gone to Path all of a sudden?

My guess is that it was on airport transfers.

Considering it was returned to service during the Mandurah line shutdown, I think Bus Suggestions' theory of it returning to storage is plausible, although so is use on Airport transfers.

Not just this one. 1570 was also spotted out and about during that time. Also an unidentified NH on service at Corfield Street on Thursday, most probably doing Route 210 or 211.

Most, if not all of the stored Swan Transit NHs (1342-49, 1354, 1569-71, 1840, 1843-1850) returned to service at one point, while a handful of Transdev and Path NHs returned to service too. However, except 1847 and 1848 at Southern River (you almost certainly saw one of those two), I think all of the others have long returned to storage.

2563 and 2587 have received the different cameras I previously noted.

Additionally, I managed to find the camera itself, though it's one of 3 identical-looking models - the manufacturer is Dahua, not Alhua as I presumed from the terrible logo design.

Apologies, CCTV cameras in lieu of the normal silver model.
