First page is the standard one from all timetables with nobody bothering to edit it to reflect the different arrangements for the F10. I noticed River-class Ruth Park operating a Circular Quay to Sydney Olympic Park service last night. I spoke to a deckhand and asked him about night time operation, he said they had been running a few of them at night for the past few weeks, as work to alter the wheelhouses has been completed. Up close, the River Class doesn't look as bad as their ugly profile would imply. I am interested in their stated capacity of 200 - as they appear a lot smaller than the Rivercats, which have a capacity of 230. Does the full capacity of 200 require the upper deck to be in use? Does anyone know the capacity with the upper deck closed off?

The vessels have a passenger capacity of 200, including 122 indoors, 18 seats outdoors on the lower deck, and 10 seats on the upper deck.
Assuming the 122 is seated, that's 50 standing passengers.

Noticed today ferries on AnyTrip just showing class or "ferry" rather than vessel name. Does anyone know why?

60 F3 will be operated hourly Mondays to Sundays by Hillsbus with some extra services from Rydalmere late Sunday afternoons.Parramatta Wharf Temporary Closure

Parramatta Wharf will close from Monday 21 March to Friday 8 April, while construction is undertaken by the City of Parramatta for the Charles Street Square upgrade.
Replacement shuttle bus Route 60F3 will run between Parramatta and Rydalmere wharves.

Parramatta Wharf has been closed for the last few days due to the flooding. Could well take that long to reinstate it regardless?

With the 4-6 metre swell at Sydney Heads, only Collaroy ferry is running between Sydney & Manly for Sydney Ferries. Interestingly, loading & unloading from the top deck only.
Manly Fast Ferries are as normal.

Anytrip shows two ferries operating but unfortunately they no longer show the name and type of ferry being used,
A twitter message this morning showed this
"F1 Manly services are cancelled this morning due to high swells. Busses will replace ferries until 9:45am when Freshwater Class Ferries will resume services departing Circular Quay hourly from 9:50am. Sydney Ferries will continue to monitor tidal swells and advise of any changes."
It shows ferries as plural.
PS Anytrip just showed the two ferries crossing midtrip. But the one to Manly showed as 63 minutes late.

Now three ferries appear and except for the one running 63 minutes late, their trip times are 20 and 23 minutes which would not be Freshwater ferries.
But I dont believe all times as one previous trip showed as arriving 1 minutes before it departed.

Tripview still shows vessel names, perhaps a change somewhere in the tracking API that moved the names over to somewhere else happened and the owner of AnyTrip hasn't fixed it.

My mistake, there was 2 x Freshwaters, bit hard ru hourly when 1 way takes 40 minutes.
Just before 4pm, a newer ferry started taking passengers as well. Before then, they were running empty to Manly & back.
Going by the destroyed boats & debris around Manly Cove. The swell was rough this morning.

I am new to Tripview and have not been able to show vessel names. Once you’ve created a ferry route, you can click on the top right of the screen where there is a target symbol. This shows tracked services. You can click on a service to show planned route, and on the top right of here is a symbol with 3 dots. There, you can select an option to show vehicle type which will show vessel name.

Thanks for that.
It caused a bit of confusion as the three dots show vertical instead of horizontal on my phone.
And the show vehicle type option is only available for current trips while in Anytrip it was available for all future trips for that day and also for most past trips for that day.

According to an article in the Telegraph this morning plans to bring the Narrabeen back into service have been scuttled as the Emeralds have now passed all tests to operate with higher waves.

Both Freshwater and Collaroy out today on F1 services during the off-peak. Presumably will be the case for the duration of the free fare period.

Big crowds out at the Quay today for free ferry rides, especially on the Manly F1 service. Long queues for some of the others too.
Two Freshies out on the run. The service that arrived from Manly at 13:00 was loaded immediately and sent out with capacity load at 13:20 instead of the timetabled 13:50. Same thing happened an hour later. Intrigued as to how these ferries were running to fill in the normal 50 minute layover.
Also noted that the MFFs and the Pyrmont Bay shuttle were being promoted as being free, but not the F10.
