According to its ASIC record, there were changes to Picton Buslines' shareholdings in July, November and December, details available at $17 a throw if anybody is really interested.
Peter Ferris resigned as Buslines Group CEO and Group Director back in September 2021 and was replaced in his role by Frank D'Apuzzo's 2 sons Adam and David (who assumed the role of Co CEO). Franks eldest son Anthony has been MD of the group for 3-4 years now.
At the same time, the D'apuzzo's finalised a buyout deal of Peter Simpsons estates shares in Buslines (after the passing of Peter's wife Dawn). Peter Ferris owned a % of Picton and was also a small shareholder in Buslines Group, so he took Picton as part of a clean break where his son Andrew runs the business with him. Geoff Ferris is still with Buslines as Group COO.
Buslines have recently purchased Rover Motors from Aaron Lewis (Government contracts and contracted vehicles) but Lewis will continue to own and operate Rover Coaches (Charter operation)
SLOW RUNNING - OUTBOUND KING STREET
Is there a good reason why outbound King Street services are being driven at a snail's pace (28,29/6/22), stopping for extended periods at intermediate stops, with no passenger boardings or alightings?

M/O 8888 a new to the area atleast?? Hino and two Tatty TV plated Rosa's on the Kingswood Uni shuttles not one branded bus out at all and Only the Hino has a Front display no side or rears visible
Tv1266 was one and other was similar number range.
Has St Marys depot closed?? Kingswood outstation still appears to have 3 buses stabling there
Busways 1065 making a very unusual 770 appearance this evening guess its working a Element shift?
Looking at the fleet-lists, I've noticed Port Stephens Coaches has or will be shortly receiving a couple of Volvo B10BLE's with CR221L bodywork, I'm wondering if perhaps two of them are already in service as I've been seeing two mysterious as of yet unidentified buses showing up on real time trip trackers as being operated by them.
So far have seen a "Scania L113CRL" coming up as being operated by PSC and a "Mercedes-Benz Custom Citaro". these seem to be doing School runs however no idea on their true identity but these might match up with the B10BLE's unless this is something else? (E-Bus perhaps??? but maybe wishful thinking).

Can anyone confirm whether that KD NB's still has their front seats blocked off and whether Hillsbus (any of their Sydney operations) no longer has theirs sectioned off?
That would certainly be revealing whether it's a depot thing or a company policy thing.
Didn't see any answers to this but from pure observation of the route 144 buses I get (Keolis Downer Northern Beaches), those no longer have the front Opal reader and front seat taped off (ie. both able to be used).
Same goes for Busways North West (Ryde/Willoughby), but didn't notice whether this applied to Hillsbus or not.
Transit Systems (R6) still block their front seats and front Opal readers though.

[$50 until they find a fix to the 3rd world country front suspension noises and the inboard front wheels.
About 10 years ago a Transdev driver told me that there where drivers that flat out refused to drive a Hino because of the suspension squeak apparently this Hino suspension squeaking issue is a thing that also effects their trucks

It would be interesting to know what Transit Systems spent on those Hinos when they bought them as second hand witch would make them 3rd hand
$50 until they find a fix to the 3rd world country front suspension noises and the inboard front wheels.
And the hiss....
The N&W units used to hiss along like a pack of cats fighting at 3am.
I done know whether this has been reported before, but I just noticed that the CDC NSW website now has a page https://cdcbus.com.au/travel-info/timet ... region-14/ which lists the region 14 routes with links to the Transport for NSW timetables. The timetables linked to still show Forest Coach Llines both for the current timetables and the new ones starting for the school holidays on 4th July,
CDC has announced it intends to bring all of its NSW operations together under the one brand, although the Forest and Hillsbus brands will remain until the re-tendering process is completed.

This is consistent with what has just happened in the Northern Territory, with Buslink being rebranded under the CDC banner (which was allegedly in the pipeline for a couple of years; "gonna happen soon", "just a few more weeks" affair).

This rebrand in the NT must be due CDC recently being awarded the contract area that Transit Systems used to operate.
