It has been moved to Circular Quay since 14 February 2021
The map shows the CQ terminus in Philip St, before Bridge St?

The timetable still says it starts from Pitt St.
For all CQ stand A buses, the last stop is shown on the map just before Bridge St but drivers might let you get off just after Bridge St.

I see there is now a new timetable for the 339 from 6 April which has the errors corrected.

A large number of ex STA buses from Transit Systems have been transferred back to STA last night in order to facilitate the retirement of the remaining 20 Merc NHs in service.

2666, 2806, 2804, 2816, 2818, 2820, 2822 and 2824 are at STA AMD whilst 2667, 2668, 2669, 2670, 2886, 2892, 2904, 2906, 2908, 2910 and 2912 are at STA Waverley.

I understand the K310s are eventually bound for Mona Vale and the K280s are bound for Port Botany alongside the other 8 full sized K280 VSTs at Waverley. Mona Vale will be losing B10s to Waverley and B12s to Randwick to make room for the K310s.

The final day for the Merc NHs at Port Botany will be this Wednesday 31 March, with four at Ryde (1397, 1399, 1401 and 1405) to continue until Saturday 10 April, when they will be withdrawn after a farewell tour.

Quite interesting how the Northern Beaches was for a while until very recently a Volvo-only zone, all of a sudden, times changed!

The route 339 timetable in pdf during February displayed Gresham St / Pitt St, I don't remember what the actual interactive map was displaying at the same time. Currently the pdf map is Gresham St / Pitt St and the interactive map displays Circular Quay.
The route 339 timetable for the upcoming school holidays from displays 'Circular Quay' as the terminus in both the pdf and interactive display.

The City of Sydney Council have proposed plans to close off Gresham St at the Bridge St end, the council want to make improvements to pedestrian movement around Lofrus St & Reiby Pl as well. The 208 was moved out of Gresham St on 25/10/2020 which was to match the 201, 202, 204, 205, 207 & 263 which were moved from Loftus St to Bridge St & George St on the same date due to construction work on a building. It will be interesting to see where buses will lay over is Gresham St is closed.

Phillip St.
The former set down stop was on Phillip St after Bridge St, Circular Quay (Stand D), this stop used to allow buses to set down and lay over elsewhere in the Phillip St lay over area.

This stop sometimes had a bus laying over which prevented other buses from safely setting down passengers. This stop was the only stop that allowed for the bus to pull in close to the kerb. The lay over spaces after the set down stop on the kerb side are not suitable to safely allow passengers to exit the bus as buses have to be positioned close to 1 metre away from the kerb to avoid the trees that have been planted near the kerb and have grown to extend over the roadway which is a hazard for the roof of buses and near side tail swing when pulling out from the kerb. There is signage advising drivers and a solid painted line on the road.

The current PDF timetable still shows outbound services starting from "Pitt St opp Australia Square" but the accompanying map shows services from CQ via Young St.

A new PDF timetable valid from 6/4 is still labeled for City- Gresham St, but shows departures from CQ, as does the map.

The Region 9 network map is finally updated to remove 333N and move 339/343 to Circular Quay.

Whoever prepares these timetables seems to have no geographical knowledge of Sydney. I recently had to complain about the 392 operating "Little Bay to Circular Quay via Eastgardens and Prince Henry Hospital". I've picked up a few similar errors over the years.

Looks like the 389 and 440 are completely missing... they should be listed even though they are operated by L, no? Just as 400 has multiple depots running the service!

They are R6 operated services, so they don't get onto the R9 maps. TfNSW seems incapable of budging on this issue.

The new Region 7/8 maps seem to have routes like 270X etc appear. Just a matter of time.

Also note that the Region 9 map is a STA map, not a TfNSW map. Similar to the R6 map, it's a Transit Systems map and not a TfNSW one.

One solution to the Gresham St problem mentioned above is to move the Northern services to Circular Quay once the Port Botany services are curtailed in the suburbs.

263 should really terminate in Wynyard for consistency with rest of Region 8.

A final farewell tour for the 4 remaining Citaros with STA will be held tomorrow. 1397, 1399, 1401 and 1405 from Y are the 4 holdouts, and will be subsequently retired from service after the tour. Still tickets available (https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing?eid=740955&)

That will leave the four at Leichhardt as the final remaining service examples. They are 1117, 1150, 1288 and 1301

Why do a few Sta and I think also Hillsbus routes still have prepay only as a part of the destination surely this is null and void by now? 333 definitely still has this issue.

Congratulations - well done. Now wait for the region 9 review to be implemented and use will be back on the merry go round.
A few weeks ago someone raised a question with me about a route 32 to Caringbah - I could not find anything one it - but the update gives the answer - it should have been route 302 - just a missing zero.

A bus layover has opened on the site of the former toll booths opposite Milsons Point station. Bus lane has returned to being in the western lane with one car lane to the far east and the layover in the middle. Holds about 8 rigids or 5 artics.
