This is the email I sent to the lottery people.

I received an email from the Premier and cabinet regarding wanting to start a lottery where every day there would be two Parrahub units won off the plan which in six months would be sufficient to purchase the whole site so excavation could begin and they have forwarded it to the transport minister.

However as at present there is still no substantial building within that site I think we should grab the opportunity now before it is lost forever and as Sydney needs more housing and eventually there will be a maglev connected to Melbourne and this is the best site with 20,000 parking spaces next to the Westconnex.

Perhaps people can use their phone number for identification with the winners selected by a random computer or something and maybe as I saved the state millions with the suggestion to use a world first incrementally launched immersed tunnel across the Sydney harbour you may somehow waive fees for the lottery.

Regards Eddy.

If the Parrahub lottery could be started before Christmas I think many people would buy tickets as a gift for others.

The last thing I would want to invest in. Hospitals would be far more important.

Perhaps that is because you have a home but there are over 2 million people in Sydney who do not, plus there are many older people who cannot keep up the maintanence on a detached dwelling and are looking for something for their retirement with all the services and transport however I suppose there would be many who feel like you.

This is what I sent the lottery people yesterday.

Further to my suggestion to have a Parrahub lottery it may be good to have two Parrahub unit winners every day even if there are less than the $4 million $1 tickets sold as the chance of winning is higher but if there are more than the $4 million sold then the state government can reap the extra also it would be good if it was running before Christmas so tickets can be bought as a gift.

I saw Chris Bowen say on the National press club that they will electrify everything that can be electrified, so if the Japanese Sydney/Melbourne Maglev is economically viable with overnight container trains reducing daytime fares below planes I think business may do it.

But he was very quiet when people tried to work out where the electricity was going to come from. I nearly thought he was going to retry his favourite 2019 statement "If you dont like it =, vote for the other party"

I wonder whether that includes anywhere outside of Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane? Usually with these people, it does not

I do not think it would be economically viable outside of Sydney/Melbourne with passing stations at Canberra and Albury.

But Australia consists of a lot more than just the Sydney Melbourne corridor.

Eventually, when Brisbane is big enough it may be connected too, especially if we develop a new TBM which is twice as fast.

I wasn't referring to Bus Australia, I was referring to Chris Bowen's statement "they will electrify everything that can be electrified". Considering its taken the better part of 10 years to get federal assistance to electrify the busiest train line in Adelaide.

This is what I sent to Rob Stokes.

Regarding your response Ref: CMU21-23194 on 25/11/2021 and seeing how people are going on strike with Sydney rental so high, it is urgent to start the Parrahub lottery before Christmas so some will be bought as presents with anything over the $4 million for the two daily unit winners going to state revenue.

As Gladys has great experience and a heart for NSW I wonder if perhaps she would be interested in building Parrahub as she would be aware of the unsustainability of NDIS and homecare and the housing problem where older people need a maintenance free unit and young families need a backyard while many people on the M4 need the 20,000 car parking spaces to transfer to trains for Canberra, Albury and Melbourne.

Reading DETERMINING THE POTENTIAL ECONOMIC VIABILITY OF INTER-MODAL TRUCK-RAIL FACILITIES IN WASHINGTON STATE

One of the things he said is getting the balance right between trucks and rail which made me think that overnight Japanese maglev container trains would have unlimited capacity interstate unlike trucks.

BUT unlike trucks and like ordinary trains they do not have the flexibility to pick up/deliver in various locations in Sydney and Melbourne.

As they would beat any truck by eight hours to freight sidings they could either be transferred to smaller trucks there or taken directly to the customer or smaller distribution centre in time for next day delivery.

These days all the containers at ports know exactly which container is which https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JcHMhtH6_s

Philip Laird came for a ride with me in the semi but I disagree with him about making people use slow rail as trucks are faster but using a 700 km/h overnight container train is even faster and cheaper than trucks and will be as the freight doubles.
https://www.uow.edu.au/media/2021/inste ... etwork.php

A tunnel will happen sometime in the future and any money spent on surface improvements will be wasted money in my opinion.

Most people would love a Japanese maglev between Sydney and Melbourne but it would only be economically viable with overnight container trains earning $1 per kilo and competing with planes earning $2,000,000 per night (100 = containers per train, 10 trains per night)

This urgent palletised freight would be picked up with smaller trucks and loaded during the day so upon arrival it goes on a truck for delivery to the customer.

It would be just as fast and cheap to drive a 14 meter diameter tunnel Sydney to Melbourne 24/7 than to deal with all the surface costs and weather.

I hope Labor is aware of the huge maintenance cost of steel rail before they start wasting money on it plus the fact you cannot have overnight container trains to reduce the daytime fare.

There is no way overnight containers can travel on steel rail as it is too slow so HSR depends on daytime fares to pay for the high maintenance without the income from container trains for urgent palletised freight meaning when Sydney and Melbourne are twice the size there will be around 2,000,000 B doubles on the Hume per year with twice the maintenance.

No maintenance Maglev is the only answer and any money spent on bandaid solutions is wasted.

After watching this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TSA64urW3A I am convinced that a 14 meter diameter 11 psi tunnel is cheaper and faster than going on the surface.

Over the next 50 years Sydney and Melbourne will double in size with 10,000,000 tonnes of jet fuel and 1,500,000 B doubles on the Hume per year costing much in maintenance.

As it will cost $20,000,000,000 to do stage one over 5 years from Parramatta to Canberra now is the time to start but unfortunately the majority seem to just want a bandaid solution that seems to me to be a waste of money as it will lock us into a slow train forever.

Steel rail is last century and Japanese overnight container maglev trains would kill planes at $1/kg earning $2,000,000 per night lowering the daytime fare Sydney to Melbourne and trucks by 8 hours freight siding to freight siding.

Having watched videos of trucks in Britain, Australia and America I feel the Japanese overnight maglev intermodal between Sydney and Melbourne should just be set up for standard containers to allow easier direct last mile delivery.

Perhaps the coming election is fought on steel rail verses maglev.

PS.
Just saw a video on how hard it is going to be to fuel jets in the future so it may be Labor promising last century tech against Liberal new tech.
