Transperth Bus Fleet by Depot / Region
Its been a challenge to keep track of bus movements between Transperth depots and Trans Regional depots so given the topic of some discussions in the Observations thread in recent times I thought it might be handy to have a thread dedicated to documenting where buses are located at by depot.
I'll kick things off with Karrinyup, Beenyup, Rockingham and Mandurah..... please feel free to share corrections and knowledge of other depots
Karrinyup: OC's 2019-2097, B7's 2426-2450 and B12 Artics 3003, 3004, 3009, 3013, 3014, 3023.

While we're at it, here's Busselton's fleet, and my best guess of what's at Bunbury. Important to note that both fleets is undergoing some changes right now, so I expect to update this list as new info comes to light, particularly Bunbury's fleet.

Re: Transperth Bus Fleet by Depot / Region
Thanks for the thread and updates, guys.
Not an easy task, but certainly much appreciated.
Be nice to see perthbus.info updated at some point.
While on-topic, any info on what's happening with perthbus.info?
I have been perusing for a few weeks in Disposals area (reliving the memories), but there are lots of errors - mismatched photos to fleet numbers, in-service and disposal dates the same date, etc.
Does anyone know??

Re: Transperth Bus Fleet by Depot / Region
In the past, I've been told some of the mismatches or peculiarities can arise as a result of changes to the website's code or even a slight oversight on the Webmaster's behalf. The move to a new host some time ago did cause a number of issues, most of which were fixed, I believe (that's not to say they haven't updated something since that's caused new problems!).ozi_mister_d wrote:I have been perusing for a few weeks in Disposals area (reliving the memories), but there are lots of errors - mismatched photos to fleet numbers, in-service and disposal dates the same date, etc.

Inaccuracies or incompleteness in the disposals lists is probably due a lack of any disposal information being available. A lot of the Renault artics, for instance, vanished from service (to be more precise, they were scrapped...) and nobody noticed. 737 is one exception...
Re: Transperth Bus Fleet by Depot / Region
It seems that the Renault arctics being documented ‘locally’ was easier than looking for transfers as most ended up at Mandurah so we’re fairly easy to keep track of right at the end. 722 for example was the last alongside Mandurahs long serving buses. A good example of just dissapearibg was 732....rode on it on a Thursday afternoon then never saw it again!!!
Although the Perthbus website is (was) a great site the updates now seemed to have stopped since March along with the excellent photo section. Any chance of the site picking back up where it was a few months ago again?

Re: Transperth Bus Fleet by Depot / Region
There will be reasons behind Perthbus.info not being updated. I'm sure in time it will pick up again. The person who runs the site does it all by themselves, so may just be taking a break from it for a while.
If it's not a ZF, take it back!

David is actually taking break from it though after 14 years when i speak to him in person and there is a guy who adds the new buses to the website for him but he also hasn't been active since about 6 months.Bus-1809 wrote:There will be reasons behind Perthbus.info not being updated. The admin of that website does also work and has other commitments which are none of our business, I’m sure he’ll update it in due course
