manually bake brakes off mercedes bus 0305
Hi everyone or anyone I have a mercedes benz 0305 bus and it has a problem where there is no air getting to the back part of the bus and as such the back or park brakes ares stuck or locked on and was wondering if there is a way to manually unlock the brakes and free it up to move off the side of the road to work on it. Thank You Stuart

There should be a hole in the back of the booster with a 19mm nut, winding that should overcome the spring - BUT - make sure you chock the wheels!!
Additionally if you have front brake air but not park brake then odds on your four way protection valve is faulty

Hi thank you diesel guy for responding i am still having the problem with the brakes we have got to the nut at the back the boosters and did not want to over do the turning of them as it seemed to be going no where and didnt want to brake it also the right hand side booster was different to the left at the back where and how the nut is located. Do both boosters need to be turned the same to overcome the springs and is it worth giving it more regardless of how tight it seems, thank you again. Stu
