Just seen 160 on the 685. Does this mean it’s now at North Lakes? With 163-166 at Clontarf I guess all of 159-161 may move to North Lakes maybe??

Hi all, Hornibrook looks to have what I believe is an optare bodied bus on trial in translink livery with no fleetnames.
Rego is Victorian 1HD2YD.

Seen 168 this morning at Clontarf. I would assume there’s a 167 around as well. It’s a regular Volgren Mercedes Benz by the looks of things.

Seen 167 yesterday at Kippa-Ring train station. Just wondering how long 105-108 have left in the fleet now? 🤔

Found out that 167 & 168 are actually Scania’s, not Mercedes Benz.

Seen Tri-axle 47 this morning in Translink green/white livery. It does suit the colours pretty well.

You beat me to it. Just seen it this morning. Euro 6 as well.
107 is still running around on schools, seen at Kippa-Ring at least 3 days last week.

Seen an electric Yutong at Kippa Ring railway station on test yesterday. Not sure if it’s with Hornibrook as it had no ID. Couldn’t see rego as passed in a car.

Just seen tri-axle 45 on the 690 at Kippa Ring station. Defo not seen one of them here before, usually on the 691.

It was announced yesterday that North Lakes depot will go all electric next year with 16 new buses and charging facilities. Deliveries start in autumn.

169 is now in standard Translink livery from ex demo Euro 6 livery.

Not 100% but the last Custom built Mercs may have gone to Red and White coaches in Sandgate. 105 was spotted with R&W a few weeks back with blue rego plates.

Looks like at least 108 is still at Hornibrook, 105 is at Red & White coaches.

Does anyone have details on 170 and 171 at North Lakes depot? New Volgren buses in dark green, guessing new electric buses?? Thanks.

I’ve seen Hornibrook have 170/171/172 and poss 173 at North Lakes. Would these release some older buses to go back to Clontarf? The recent debranding of adverts from 114 and 117 and lack of repaints now for the 109-121 series could see some change’s happening. Still in Hornibrook Red are 112/113/114/116/117/118/119/121. 109 is all over add for Chemist Warehouse. 114 has Translink front, 117 has Translink front and rear. 115/120 in full Translink livery.
