ACTION Tow Truck at work.
On the 18th of December ACTION's Tow Truck was called in to assist with the rescue of a truck driver trapped after a collision on Majura Rd. The truck had to be winched away from the bridge abutments with the driver still in the truck to facilitate his extrication.

This big monster is on ACT Government plates. Besides some active Fire engines, these plates are some of the oldest of their type around still.
According to news reports, the truck was rescued from the cab.
A few hours after this incident, the car& truck involved were on a tow truck (can't remember if it was one or two, but not the ACTION one) being escorted by the Police.

Re: ACTION Tow Truck at work.
Saw this accident, only got into Canberra (after a flight from Sydney) after a long 13 hour flight from the US. The ACTION tow-truck wasn't there when I went passed (via the detour).
