I often get this message when refreshing a browsing session.

If you reload a search page within 5 seconds when logged in it will trigger the "flood limit"

However this is extended to 30 seconds if you are browsing as a guest.

It depends on your definition of a search. It does NOT mean that you have done a search but that something you have entered causes a search internally by the board.

Fleet Lists, I should have stated when I click on Advanced Search (before I have used search for the day), then put an entry in, click on the search button, and a number of times, that's when it has come up as sorry, bu you cannot use search at this time.

Yes but the function you carried out BEFORE that may also have required an internal search of which you may not even have been aware.

Some other services on this server have bumped the load average up at times causing the cut out limiter to kick in.
