Was out Sorell way yesterday, and spotted a Redline coach at Gilbert's yard. Is that where Redline keeps their Dodges Ferry coaches, or is there something else up?

I think they keep (1) sometimes (2) up there Matt.sharp77 wrote:Was out Sorell way yesterday, and spotted a Redline coach at Gilbert's yard. Is that where Redline keeps their Dodges Ferry coaches, or is there something else up?
Mention was made by Highway Traveller, that the Ansair/Bedford on a flat-tray a few months back is in Campania/Colebrook. I must be blind, cause I drove back & forth, and I DIDN'T find it. I DID however find, Comeng/Bedford + #223 SB Bedford/Freighter + Comair bodied Bedford (with a chimney in the roof) + bogie tram #128 + ex TRC #19 Bedford/Freighter

Any preservation candidates amongst the Bedfords? May need to advise Darlene Haigh about tram # 128!!Tas Bus Nut wrote:Mention was made by Highway Traveller, that the Ansair/Bedford on a flat-tray a few months back is in Campania/Colebrook. Bit hard to ask her now. Pretty sure she passed away last yearAEC Regal wrote:Any preservation candidates amongst the Bedfords? May need to advise Darlene Haigh about tram # 128!!
Gas leak @ RHH this morning caused a few "detours" for Metro buses. MOST Northern Suburbs services detoured via Liverpool/Murray/Collins to bus mall. Eastern Shore services travelled via Davey/Elizabeth Sts to bus mall. Seemed strange travelling along Murray St IN SERVICE.

Yeah, I forgot all about that! Might have to employ a medium!

Last time you went there you incorrectly used the R button on a late shift didn't you?Tas Bus Nut wrote:Seemed strange travelling along Murray St IN SERVICE.[/b]
In other news, Opossum Bay has lost 656 and has been replaced with a B10M.
This was initially 712, then 717. Unsure if this will remain the same vehicle each day.
For the photographers out there, Saturday will be a hive of activity with the AFL match on at Bellerive Oval (my bad, Blundstone Arena)

She'd do some scraping there at the corner. We are instructed to RAISE the 12.5m buses on that corner so they don't ground out. Good catch there by your friend

This was in today's Sydney Morning Herald. A few cans of worms in this one. It's interesting that they say that if they were sold to a private operator then the EBA would no longer apply. I think every union in the country would back them on that one.

I wonder how you sighted yourself driving it, but you probably just did blockies around the CBD and looked at yourself in the shop windowsStormmm wrote:Tassielink's new CB80 sighted around Hobart briefly today .. oooo .. I know who was driving too .. ME !!!!!!!!! First job for the new bus ..
