I don't have a location for your photo Newcastle Flyer and I hope you don't mind my cutting in. Just to confirm LB608 was first correct with my earlier shot on the road between Spears Point and Boolaroo. Hopefully LB608 will have a chance at a 'Where is it' once it's an open floor. Apologies for the delay in responding. My computer threw a major wobbly after 7 years of good service and had to get a new one, then couldn't remember my password for here etc. There certainly are a few classic buildings around Boolaroo.

Cheers.

I thought it would be easy, four sure.

Since it wasn't guessed, it was The Foreshore, just east of Newcastle Station.

My previous post had "four sure" in the title, which was a clue.

It's been a few days and no one else has jumped in, so I'll do another. Where is it ? Photo is very recent, and I was most surprised to find this structure still in place.

Oh great Geoff got it before me! Now that is an easy Where is it.

PS: Recently? Odd that the former station is not overgrown.

Too easy. Geoff has it as Sandgate Cemetery. Easy for a Novocastrian but probably not those from elsewhere. And I took the shot about 3 weeks ago, followed the track back behind where I'm standing until it reached a swamp and I couldn't continue. The Sandgate Cemetery sign is still there for the people arriving by rail. Any idea how long ago the line was closed ? Over to you Geoff.
