OK, time for a cryptic clue: vibrating weapon. The town's name is associated with that clue.

"Vibrating weapon" is a cryptic for a word that you could associate with a certain NSW town where this collection of railway stuff lives. An alternative cryptic clue could be "wobbling projectile". Remember it is a cryptic clue, so getting the meaning of the clue doesn't lead immediately to the name of the town, but it helps. Think laterally.

I thought Franfran might get this - it helps if you are able to recall your English lessons at high school, as I'm sure she does.

This town used to have a railway line and may again have one some day, though it would most likely be a privately owned/operated line. Also, look at the scenery and the weather and think about those and where in NSW it could be.

There wouldn't be a place called Shakespeare in New South Wales by any chance?

Good guess but not correct in this case :) .

Think of another place with a former line and a (much smaller) collection of rolling stock, with similar climate (often cold and wet). That's a clue...

Ahh, very good! You're on the right track (sorry) but not quite there yet. Think laterally.

Think of a NSW town associated in some way with W. Shakespeare. Shouldn't be too hard to solve now, particularly at this time of year (that's another clue) .

Yawn. (that's yet another clue!)

I'll take a guess re the Shakespeare reference - Stratford, station closed in 1978. I remember driving up to Barrington Tops crossing the Avon River, and the next town was Stratford. As to the vibrating weapon clue - I'd be worried it's broken. (?)

A Midsummer Nights Dream, consort to Titania, Queen of the Fairies.......Oberon. Actually I thought of Oberon from the image but was convinced no way was there a house so close to the Museum site there, it's all industrial area. So thought no more, then I saw the pine trees, mist etc. The vibrating weapon clue has me lost though.

Oberon it is. The photo was taken in November last year on that day that it snowed there. We arrived to very light snowflakes so it was a bit cool to be outdoors taking photos.

Here's Bullwinkle and friends looking a bit cold at Oberon, waiting for me to finish taking those stupid photographs of broken-down railway stuff..

As I don't got any bus photos left that I haven't already posted, I have had to look around for a photo that is in the public domain or otherwise free from copyright - not as easy as it sounds. Can you tell me where this one was taken then?
