As mentioned on another thread the new Scania k280ub/Express is registered 7470 MO and based out of emu heights depot.

EDIT- 7471 MO an identical unit to 7470 MO has also been delivered to Emu depot

That makes nearly all of BMBC's TNSW buses at the emu heights depot.

Former 3712 MO Volvo B10M ex Defence Force that was deregistered in July 2013 has re-appeared at Katoomba this weekend on the the same plates, a totally new more traditional livery layout of a lighter shade of brown than Trolley Tours (more tan in shade) waistband and skirt on yellow (no white), a new grille, and two big air horns on the front above the desto. Still accredited to Pearce Omnibus. Will post some images in my next Blue Mountains postcard.

Yes I sighted that bus today myself.... What do you think it's doing ? And why that livery?... I also noted it had special on the desto which it didn't have the desto roller for before.

Also I sighted one of the galaxy coaches at Katoomba depot, yet to see a rego.

Well it's a 1984 build body, so I don't think it's going to see much action on route service. And it doesn't have that white communication 'gizmo/antenna' on the roof up front. My guess it's been sold and prepared for the new owners requirements, possibly a private school or similar. I did hear some time ago that the Air Force cadets at Glenbrook were raising money for a bus which was going to be ex Defence Force, maybe this is it and will suddenly have a new numberplate etc. All just speculation on my part. 3757 MO is the rego of the coach next to it, doesn't seem to have moved in the last week or so and unusually for Katoomba is parked front into the shed.

RMS data shows it was only re-registered on Friday 14/3. I have reinstated it on the list given the accred is still for Pearce.

One of Katoomba's low floor Mercedes is now AOA for the new Woolworths in Katoomba. Haven't downloaded the photo from my camera yet so can't confirm rego, will include in my next BM postcard.
Let me edit that : BMBC's only low floor M-Benz (by deduction  must be 3767 MO) based at Katoomba, is now in AOA for Woolworths.

Yes i sighted that on monday ( wondered why that bus was out of service). I also noticed a lot of buses at katoomba and valley heights depot's have advertisements for big w and woolies, But 3767MO is the only one so far in full AOA. ;)

Cheers :)

I've noticed what I believe to be former 3703 MO Volvo B6FA in the stripes livery sitting in the shed at Katoomba with no rego plate on the front.

That must of been a recent change, as I sighted it operating a school run last week. It's probably the next to be sold I guess.

On another note i have been told that the newest SB50 is at the Valley Heights Depot, but I have no idea about the rego.

The newest addition is 7384 MO, a Volvo B7R Euro 5. Snapped images of it today at Leura and Katoomba and operating the Katoomba - Springwood service, which does imply a Valley Heights based bus. Will post in my next BM postcard.
