Yeah the dirty windscreen gives the bus a real weathered look!

I dunno about that colour. The combination of the colour and slightly cylindrical look with the rounded sides makes it look a bit like a cucumber.

Great pics, though. :D

What are the pods on top, air con? If it's come from the UK.... well, no need for that there.

Good point, but you do see a few around that do work both in the UK and over on the continent. I went on a few coach trips in left hand drive coaches when over there as the coach is put on the ferry to cross the Channel.

There are now a large number of Omnicity rigids in the UK with First, Nottingham City Transport and a few other operators, they are even at Heathrow Airport. However there are no Omnicity bendi's.

Now I thought a backside of a VST was fugly, not a fan of that arse, but the front end looks much more genuine than the front end volgren slap on some scanias. I'm thinking the 5 pods on the roof might be aircon? I'm also guessing it was made in Sweden, hence the LHD, looking at the lonely planet site, it seems temperatures in summer can be in the mid 20's to about 30 degrees

Er, there are quite a few RHD OmniCity artics (CN94UAs) running in the UK: First (Manchester), Travel West Midlands and Bws Caerdydd (Cardiff Bus) run them on regular services, while a number have also been used for the Heathrow T4 tube replacement service (while the line to Heathrow T5 is built).

What would be a rarity is an articulated OmniLink (CL94UA) in RHD format - as far as I know, all RHD L94UAs have been supplied with third-party bodywork.
Oh, what a perfect world this world would be,
If he was President now - but he's not.

Heathrow Airport has a batch of Omnicity artics. Omnidekkas are becoming more popular over there as well, I think because they have the largest motor in the market. The engines are in a horizontally opposed orientation, but without as much insulation as the N113 series buses. The chassis itself is the CN94UB/CN94UA/CN94UD (depending on the chassis use).

Hope this bus passes and the government looks at getting this type of scania artic for the o-bahn. It looks great from the fron and I bet it looks good from the side but I don't particulary like the back design of the bus though. I wonder what the inside and dash look like etc.
Thoughts are with the people in Victoria at this very bad time.

Looks to me like it might be a test for a certain other germany city with an o bahn perhaps? If it were aimed at Adelaide, wouldn't Scania of got their hands on a right hand drive unit?
