It was interesting to observe that the replacement bus stops chosen for the ES Marks LR stop were at Ascot St, some 250 metres away, while existing bus stops adjacent to the LR were bypassed.

When I contacted Transdev about this, their response was "we'll make a note of it for next time". So much for "professional transport management".

It seems that the track problems through the cross-overs at Moore Park have been fixed and the TSR has been lifted.

As we don't know what this refers to. I can only assume that a transfer from tram to bus at Moore Park is not really convenient, so it is better to put people onto buses at Central

The usual lowlife bludgers who get on the buses without paying are likely reluctant to get on a mode where they don't know what they can get away with. Cunning animals.

It related to some urgent roadwork which would close the lines for a couple of hours last night.

Two lanes of Anzac Pde southbound, adjacent to the Kensington LR stop were closed for most of the day yesterday with road crews in attendance.

The actual fleet numbers within the LR fleets may be 2201 to 2260

Man, some of these traffic light waits are shameful, especially compared to the G Link up on the Gold Coast.

Not a new video - things have improved.

From the Xmas trees in Martin Place and the number of people (and lack of suits) I'd guess late Dec 2019/ early 2020.

I think so. There is a "hole" on the inbound side opposite Ascot St, starting to appear again.

The only section of road which was excavated, new road base compacted and new road constructed was the eastern half of the Todman Ave intersection, so while the utility renewal hopefully has eliminated any leaking pipes from contributing to subsidence, general ground softness wasn't really addressed at all.

I looked today, there was a patched section about 1 metre square. But there is a much larger area marked out in multiple colours of spray paint right across the 4 lanes, so perhaps more work is planned?

When your system has been operating for six months but the overhead wiring is eating pantographs for breakfast (Anzac Pde nr Alison Rd) then I guess you do need to spend all day working our why and not actually fixing the problem and getting the line back in service.

Am i correct in assuming the operator will be penalised for presumably not meeting the availability metric and is responsible for the costs of maintenance?
