B sets do have one good thing different about them I notice not talked about anywhere else and thats that I definitely do feel like the seats have thicker plush / bit more recline in the seats?
It's quite noticeable and definitely feels more comfortable than a standard A-set Waratah seat

From what I understand Waratah Series 1 Set A2 was En-Route when there was an Acid Spill on board the ship Set A2 was deemed to be damaged beyond repair and was replaced by Waratah Series 1 Set A80. See this link: https://wikivisually.com/wiki/Sydney_Tr ... %26_B_sets

I wonder if the signs will be changed to "1 of 41 new trains", at least for the second tranche?

I saw B14 under test a few weeks ago at Central. (Too dim / too far to see the number on the ends, but the carriages were all xx14.)
Re: $1.7 billion order for new Waratah trains signed
Set B14 sighted April 5 on Run 63-R, 1730 hours Central to Revesby (via Airport) service.
Sets B1 to B22 are all in service.

Does this mean S Sets are now gone? The higher the B set number, the more I despair.
