Some idol time on my hands this week so went to see what NH’s are still around in the city area.

Seen in service around the city over the last few days were 1185,1337,1351,1719,1720, and most of the surviving 1777-1796 blockof PATH CNGs.

Malaga depot: 1721 still with plates and withdrawn 1772 is still there with 4 sad looking mates. Also 3001 and 3002 at the same time
Bayswater depot: 1716
Welshpool depot: 1319,1332,1335,1526,1527,1723,1724 and the very travelled 1503 (still plated)

Manheims auctions: all in silver/black
803,1143,1145-1151,1153,1305-1308,1310-1312,1329,1511,1701,1707,1714 plus at least 6 others stored at the back of the yard. (803 and 1701 have been moved back from the show area to the storage so I would suspect these are too far gone and were no takers)

I’ll try to get to canning vale and the southern depots later this week

2910 seen in service this afternoon, probably delivered to Wangara.
I'd post any important, bus-related links I had, but they're outdated anyways.

where is 1719, 1720 located and is 1725 still on service. tbh path still give a lot of rooster to to their NH CNG compare to their NH Diesel. even for me NH CNG at freo not has much rooster shift compare to morley bus. IDK is that because i rarely travel around freo area or is it real because if i went to city the NH CNG from morley has more appearance compare to transdev

1720 was on a 282 In Adelaide terrace yesterday heading west and 1719 was seen at Elizabeth Quay today but not in service - no idea about 1725 but 1723 and 1724 are at Welshpool.

The PATH CNGs seem to do a lot of runs on routes up Guildford road on 41,42 and 55 and occasionally turn up on the 950s at school time. Most of the Palmyra CNGs I’ve seen have been around the Elizabeth quay - Canning Bridge - Murdoch corridor on various routes. 1805,1814,1817 and 1819 seem especially active.

not only that NH CNG usually runs on 960 also. Mostly 1790 and 1792, However, if the enthusiastic user wants to see more NH CNG outside Perth station is a good spot to wait for it as most of path route pass this route.

1720 probably is at Kalamunda depot. While 1723 and 1724 are these still on service or just storage

PATH NH's still in service:

Kalamunda: 1566, 1567?, 1568, 1719, 1720

Welshpool: Nil

Malaga: 1715, 1721, 1777, 1779-1796. 1778 suffered a catastrophic failure a week or so ago, so although maybe not technically withdrawn, it won't be returning to service at this stage.

Bayswater: 1716

2807-2809 should be entering service at Shenton Park soon (if not already), along with Path's first new rigid for a while, 2758. Don't know where it's heading though.

This may explain why 1778 was parked up by itself in a corner

1778 has been withdrawn early due to issues. I suspect 2758 will most likely be the replacement.

The Freo NHs can be found mornings and afternoons, weekdays-only. All are sent out, unless a bus is paying a visit to the mechanics.

Refurb 1948 seen today in Baldivis.

Canning vale seems to have a later number of buses alongside the Roe now.
Seen today: 1315,1316,1322,1323,1323,1328,1329,1515,1518,1522,1528,1530-1532,1539,1540 and a few others.
(1328,1329,1539,1540 must be very recent arrivals as they are still listed as in service)

Also 1806 is still present.....but is rapidly disappearing

1949 has been back for a little while too. 1950 should be back by now as well, but I haven't seen it

1328, 29, 30 and 33 were used almost exclusively on Subiaco shuttles, with 2801-06 in service now (and 2807-09 on the way), there's not much point keeping the older NHs around really

You might have to wait a couple of weeks to see it again as both of SR's artics usually stay in for the holidays

Went north today on NHs.

JOONDALUP: lots of NHs in service here. 1191 and 1803 missing engines and parts, 1732 seems to be a donor as well.
1729 (stored with engine running), 1733,1734,1741 and 1746 all look like they have been used recently.

Karrinyup: 1533-1537 all present at the back. (1536 and 1537 have been seen in service recently)

And 1788s engine failure may not have been as bad as initially thought as it was seen today in Alexander drive at 11:00 under its own power heading south

Off out of the country for a few months, let me know if my wanderings and ramblings have been useful and I’ll go again when I get back

Apologies for two post in one day - missed this.

1326 was (is?) still present of the old 13xx batch but they were replaced by the ex Beenyup 15xx buses a few months ago. The 13xx’s are now at Canning Vale stored or have gone to Mannheim’s.

The 103 is a good bet for an NH

1788 or 1778? 1778 is the one that has been taken out of service.

Looks like the remaining Path 17xx O405NHs won't be out for much longer, four more Volvos are going to Path (2759-62, plus the aforementioned 2758). I spent a bit of time today in Shenton Park along the 24, 25, 97, 103 and 950 route and while there are still some NHs around their numbers are dwindling rapidly... I'd estimate that Shenton Park is ~40% NHs by now.

Thanks squiddy I I got that information on 1788 secondhand so i assumed he meant 1778 - my bad.

Also I saw 1567 going east on Adelaide terrace yesteday so it’s fair to assume it’s still at Kalamunda.
