If the Regional Diesel OC500LEs go back to Perth for refurbishment will they send a replacement bus like they did with the old NHs?TP1462 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 29, 2021 9:18 pmWell there’s a heap of regional NHs and diesel OC500s that haven’t been refurbished so not necessarily. PTA are always all over the place when it comes to refurbishments the first batch of B series are nearly 20 years old can you believe?! they haven’t had any major work done apart from the B3 upgradeTransRegional wrote:Will the Bunbury Volvo B7s 1481–1499 get refurbished?

I honestly don’t know it’s anyones guess the diesel OC500s do have much lower kilometres than their metro CNG equivalentsTransRegional wrote:If the Regional Diesel OC500LEs go back to Perth for refurbishment will they send a replacement bus like they did with the old NHs?TP1462 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 29, 2021 9:18 pm Well there’s a heap of regional NHs and diesel OC500s that haven’t been refurbished so not necessarily. 1480 has been transferred to Bunbury, also spotted 2512, 2513 in midvale yesterday while driving 1469. 1468, 1469 also been partially stripped down from advertising in preparation for refurb
Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2021
2512 and 13s presence in Midvale could be cover ups for early B7 refurbishments.

Apparently 3242 also registered. Is it replacing 1480?

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2021
Usually, I'm not sure. However, I suspect it would be a similar mix to this time, being Midvale and Malaga with few notable exceptions.Enviro 500 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 02, 2021 2:11 am Were Joondalup and Bayswater depots tasked with running the rail replacement shuttle for the Midland line this time?
Beenyup: 3226
Karrinyup: 2544
Wangara: 2901
Keep in mind this was emergency rail replacement, so it was a case of mobilizing any available spare buses rather than having a set list.
I'd post any important, bus-related links I had, but they're outdated anyways.

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2021
1462 on 75. Has this guy moved to Welshpool?
Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2021
I'm guessing a 14xx OC has taken it's place at Malaga.
Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2021
Spotted 2569, 2570 in midvale yesterday.
Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2021
btw 2482 saw on 930 yesterday. this probably related to 25xx move to Midvale
Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2021
1462 is back at Malaga, just on it doing a 60.
Although it is doing a Bayswater shift as a result of a change off with 1895.
