Carbridge Perth has an electric vehicle - EV14, a BYD K9 (marketed as the Carbridge Toro). This is supposedly ex Transport Canberra, too.

Cheers!

EV14 is in service and from what I understand, can be found on the T1/T2 Carpark shuttle.

Also while we are at it: 1337 is at Gosnells, however it's off traffic, so not sure if it's for operation or something else.

I believe someone also spotted 1549 on a 930 in the last day or so?
If it's not a ZF, take it back!

A lot of the information on perthbus.info (especially with non-PTA stuff) comes from sightings, particularly in this day and age where companies tend to have policies in place to discourage employees providing perthbus.info with any kind of information/gen. Means that brand new stuff can sometimes go a while without being recorded, but I'm sure it'll make its way there eventually.

Just to be extra nitpicky, 1337 and 1549 were withdrawn from Shenton Park a little while ago, so I would say 'resurrected' is probably a better term to use :P

2014 back from refurb...

I can confirm that Buswest Armadale does NOT have a Yutong coach assigned to it. It would have been from another depot. Charter buses do not stay assigned to one area like Transperth buses do. We cross into other depots areas all the time.

There is no 250T, only a 250F and an Optimus Volvo was sighted doing the same running today. Will put the feelers out for info.

It's been documented on here in past where a Canning Vale bus has been running a Southern River shift in particular the 250F, could be just Canning Vale has picked up a Southern River shift or 2 over the school holidays.

Re: PTA/Transperth Observations- December 2014
Random working of the day goes to Canning Vale's 1695 doing at least 2 trips of a Southern River shift (them being the 1525 and 1555 250F). Quite an enjoyable ride, even if the driver had to do a u-turn at Townley/Duri.

Cheers!

Well, while we're here, Transdev stuff has been moving around in preparation for the Joondalup contract change-over in a few months. I'll update this post as I see things.

3087 to Joondalup, 3048 to Rockingham

2612
2614
2615
2636
2638
2639
2640
2641
2659
To Mandurah

Edit: To quote a list I made based on the contract lists, these are the buses that should be moving:
Buses assigned to Joondalup that are elsewhere (ie. buses that should be moving North):
Mandurah: 1201, 1202, 1220-30, 2244, 2685
Rockingham: 3087
Fremantle: 2679, 2680, 3033, 3039, 3042, 3078, 3099
Buses not assigned to Joondy/Wangara that are there (ie. buses that should be moving South):
1179, 1180
1762
2135, 37, 56
2607-09, 2611-12, 2614-16, 2636-41, 2645, 2646, 2659
2911
3036, 48, 69, 72, 73
So uhhhhhhh, I suppose keep a look out for these over the coming weeks!

After weeks and months of speculation it’s been officially announced on the ASX today by Transit Systems (SEALINK) operating as Swan Transit have retained all their existing Marmion contracts and picked up Joondalup. Swan Transit will have over 800 buses in their fleet and 16 depots

Yesterday was the Spring Rebellion, which disrupted many bus services with drivers missing out their meal breaks because of this.

In this case, 1897 drove straight to Warwick Station from the timing point at Ballajura Shopping Centre to cover the missed meal break and was then replaced by 1407 to continue the remaining run.

2009 is now refurbed.
I'd post any important, bus-related links I had, but they're outdated anyways.

Fiegert road, Pinjarra isn’t exactly the bush it’s partially unsealed semi rural road you really need a fourby with a proper 4WD setup on that route not recommended for regular passenger cars let alone buses, the driver was using google Maps and simply took a wrong turn and ended up bogged nothing too major just needed the right tow truck with the sufficient draw chain to drag it back out that which was successfully completed at 22:00 18/10
