Jack for changing tyres.

Post by 649motorhome »

I'd like to know if a 3 ton trolley jack is sufficient to lift one wheel for a 11metre bus.

3 Ton Steel Jack Stands. A pair of heavy duty jack stands that support up to 6000 lb.

Similarly, how much weight can a 2 ton floor jack lift? A floor jack only lifts part of the car. A 1.5 ton jack will lift 3,000 pounds! Even if he put it in the middle and not on a pad and happened to lift half of the car weight of a 4'000 lb (2 ton) car that would leave him 1,000 lbs left.

In this way, can a 3 ton jack lift a truck?
