You can go into 'Trove' online (National Library Australia newspaper scans) and do a search under the name of business or look for the local Penrith papers of the time
and view those for info. Newspapers on Trove seem to go up to the late 1950's. Penrith Library Local Studies may have stuff as well (if you haven't already checked there).
Other resources as well - old Truck & Bus magazines at State Library, State Archives if it was a Pty Ltd registered business (can search State Archives online to see if have anything).
