I think it’s just the engine bay and the back of the bus

A lot. It adds a bit of life to those carriages made of dull, corrugated metal.

Is the view from the windows clear from the inside or is it like an AOA on an AdeMet bus where the view is blocked slightly?

I would be asking for a refund if I found my compartment had this over it, after all isn't part of the experience seeing the view? Some years ago I stayed at a resort hotel in Queensland where the room was advertised as water view but when we got there, the palm trees in the grounds had grown higher and heavily filtered the view. The accommodation grades were obviously set years previously when the trees hadn't grown and they hadn't reviewed the gradings over the years. However, the hotel acknowledged this without dispute and willingly gave a credit for the difference. The Ghan is basically a rolling hotel......

I wonder if you might have a new ally in the fight against AOA wrap lunchbox. I'm not sure if it's allowed to cover emergency exits with wrap or, if it is, I wonder whether it should be, as surely wrap would make it more difficult to break the window out. Modern Australian buses typically only have one emergency exit either side over the front wheel arches. The traditional rear window exit has long since disappeared with the advent of engine firewalls at the back. The downside with all this was demonstrated in that terrible Brisbane fire where the fire was down the front and the front window exits or door couldn't be accessed and the emergency door release over the centre door was hidden because, naturally, smoke rises to the ceiling first, so the passengers were trapped down the back and were saved only because a passing pedestrian outside kicked in the centre door.

You'd think lessons would be taken from this, but nothing seems to have changed until the new Custom Denning Element came along with two centrally-located window exits on either side and a rear window exit at the back. I don't know if you're still with APT lunchbox, but maybe the location of emergency exits and the effect of wrap on inhibiting exit through windows is an important one to raise with authorities. The same issue of course applies to trains and trams.

With nearly 90 extra buses out on Footy Express services, buses that are normally not used on weekends often get used when there is Football on at Adelaide Oval.

Major delays for Hills bus services heading out of the City tonight due to a breakdown on the SE Freeway - many services running over an hour late, some up to 2 hours late

The double decker buses , are they allowed to use Greenhill Road or Upper Sturt Road ?

No, and 14.5m buses are not allowed to use any alternative route either. I believe staff at Aldgate try to keep artics away from both roads as well due to tight corners and little passing room

Does anyone know why TT renumbered 1791 and 1792 to 5701 and 5702? Also, why did those SouthLink buses (3227, 3229, 3231 & 3232) get transferred?

Wouldn’t have been TT renumbering it, would have been DIT

Presumably the Hills CB80s are to help with rail replacements
