More delays and cost blowouts on Gawler Electrification

Commuters will be put out for much longer after the Government reveals a major overrun on the Gawler rail upgrade.
The budget for this major infrastructure project has blown out by $100m.
There will also be a delay to the completion of the project.
As a result the partial closure of the line planned from late January to April(school term) between Mawson Lakes and Gawler Station will now become a full line closure from 26th December to 26th April 2021.
This obviously will require additional buses operating substitute bus services-explains additional new Scania Bustech buses and no further retirements.
