A real time e-paper timetable trial is currently on the way in Brisbane. Similar to that of NSW'S trial last year, these have an added feature of audio announcements and are powered by a solar voltaic panel.

Why on Earth are paper timetables even still used at bus stops? There are far more durable (and thus passenger-friendly) ways of providing the information. These are a neat idea, but must be expensive if they're vandalised.

They have been rolled out in NSW. I have seen them in the Sydney metropolitan areas as well as Newcastle.Merc1107 wrote:Why on Earth are paper timetables even still used at bus stops?
