to be honest, I dont think the orange/ brown stripe would not meet up perfectly if it was continued over the concertina.

I've always thought the same thing about the orange stripe at the back end of the bus - it goes from above the windows to almost at at the bottom of them very fast.

They are Supervisor field vans. Often used in morning peak to run along routes if there's a breakdown/cancellation and a replacement bus/driver can't be arranged, among other supervisor duties.
