Wisby Buses latest additions

Post by Tas Bus Nut »

Sneak peak of Wisby's "new" artics - MACK / Renault PR180.2 with Ansair bodies

Firstly, ex ACTION #710

Image
Don't know if new front has previously been put on this bus, however you'll notice the sticker says: PR100.2
** Now some may say, the middle of the ' 0 ' has faded/removed, I can assure you, I studied it, and it hasn't :!:
Image
However, the back DEFINATELY says: PR180.2

The missing MACK badge is usually an indication that the front has been replaced, or at the very least repaired and resprayed.

Good to see they've arrived at their new home safely.

I'm aware of that Chris, I was just stating the sticker on the front being incorrect :D .

They hope to have 710 on the road next week. They will be painted hopefully before Xmas

I didn't look at the Vern, however was told 710 had thousands of $$ thrown at it BEFORE sale  Sounds like Metro
IMO they are a very attractive vehicle, however ACTION livery doesn't do it justice (Transperth better)

Good to see a bit of variety in Tas. with these three artics. Did these three do a Road trip south? Or were they shipped all the way?
