That's the ex Perth ex London 79 Titan. He's spent money on her. I recently learned that the first batch of 250 or so were built at the AEC works in Southall. I wonder if this was one of them.

Here's the story of 'The Aviary' and a link to their website:

"The Aviary is a 1979 Leyland Titan double decker bus, deriving its name from the amount of birds that once called this bus home.
Once considered an elegant design masterpiece, the buses were taken out of service and are now extremely rare.
In 2018 The Aviary was transformed into a one of a kind venue with no expense spared.
The result of which is a modern, world-class entertainment and event space on wheels.
Combining a unique blend of luxury, comfort and excitement The Aviary leaves a lasting impression on anyone lucky enough to experience it."

This has proved to be a quite interesting post tracing the history of this Leyland Titan and its life post UK service.

Good job marketing to the pretentious wanker market that is so Sydney.
I admire the owner's initiative though and hope it's a massive success for him monetarily. It's good to see a Titan in Sydney with this much money lavished on it for another new life 41 years after it entered service with London Transport executive.

It's interesting that it appears to be parked on a public street without registration plates.
