It shows the date as 1980's so you are close.

First half of 1980 with the PTC being wound up on 30 June. Mk 2 Merc 2448 was a 1980 build while, the 200 buses on the way would have been the Mark 3s that commenced delivery in 1981.

Back when Sydney was looking up. Anyone notice the better way this woman spoke compared to how we have regressed now?
2448 would be a late 1980 build wouldn't it and mark IIIs probably weren't even on the drawing board until then?
