Atlanteans AOA help required

Greetings fellow enthusiasts, Im trying to get an idea of what AOA adverts were carried on your Leyland Atlanteans in Sydney, Im aware of DULUX(attatched) but is impossible to find any pics, I've managed to find the Stevie Wonder "Wonderbus" video which is great, I know there was a few more..... I hope you can help here..... looking forward to your replies. cheers

there were over 13 adds done was bus 1155 was done about 6 times there was a list of each add on here a while back! :roll:

I would kill for a model of that dulux AOA. I bet it would have been the fastest seller by a mile, had Trux released one.
At least I got two for the price of one with my Whiskas unit, plus I am a cat lover, so it suits. :wink:

How did you like the 1970s hairdos and characters that got on the bus?? My jaw was agape to say the least!!
I reckon Sydney was far more colourful in the 1970s than now. Actually, that applies in all the word's cities, come to think of it. :lol:

Couldnt find the list, would love to see it, i agree that the Dulux as a model would have been a rapid seller, we hada dulux/hgw paints bus in dublin too, but not as colourful as your dulux atlantean... im hoping top gear release some buses soon, its like a drought..... i plan to paintup a couple of models in sydney aoa liveries and some being done professionally, id like more images of dulux....

standard joke was when it was loaned to nth side depots don't drive in lane 1 of the harbour bdge as the bus was to wide! :lol:

From my childhood - a country lad who had annual Sydney visits and photographed any bus he could find!

I found the lemon bus! [1118 from Waverley].

Did they still run any aoa Atlanteans after they were culled in number and confined to NB express work?
