Metrolink ADL 4264 Rego GZW 698 seen operating a 277 from Downtown.
Waka Pacific ADL 4265 Rego HAD 988 was seen operating a 502 to Downtown this morning.
Waka Pacific ADL 4266 Rego HAD 997 was seen doing a 532 to Otahuhu this morning also.
Seems the Allocation of ADL,sand Fleet Numbering to each Depot are getting quite mixed

Those two ADL's at Waka Pacific must of replaced #1112 & #1128 which I haven't seen around for a while?.
Don't know how NZ Bus got away with running an ADL on a Mt Eden Road service??, they are supposed to operate large capacity Buses on that corridor.
The remaining Articulated Buses that are in their 30th year of service have apparently been given an yet another extension till the end of the school term for 2013.

No orders have been placed yet by either NZ Bus or H&E and no work has started on any modifications to infrastructure along Key routes.

A small article appeared in the Howick & Pakuranga Times on the 6th August stating that Double deckers are coming, but don't expect to see them on East Auckland roads for at least a year....

1112 and 1127 are now dedicated school buses, the destination signs are retained just in case they are still required to run at contract bus services.

Bayline Hino RK #231 was spotted this morning Northbound on the Southern Motorway on a School run. Perhaps a new addition to the Swasbrook fleet?.

North Star #2023 is now at Wiri. A few more will be transferred to Wiri from North Star as they will replace the older artics which will finally be retired by the end of the year. Still a few chugging around in service at the moment!.

Its a pity we don,t do like our Aussie Counterparts do and take our Buses on "Farewell Tours" when each model is ending its life. Being able to remember the great pleasures they gave us as Bus Drivers, and be able to travel around in them in Auckland for One Last Ride is a good way to reflect back and too celebrate the fond memories so many of us had of these different model Buses. Hopefully N Z Bus will donate one of the Bendys to MOTAT and Auckland will have another piece of History to add to the collection for all,and then maybe we may all just get "One More Ride''
