Happy new year and welcome to the start of a new decade. Thought I jump in and create the Ventura Group thread for this year.

Regards

Thanks for the starter JRBUS123.

I'll be looking forward to personally seeing #1419 (VG5000) on the road a little later this year, it's in Seaford depot and it was sighted by another busfanner yesterday on the 776. Fantastic having Volgren reaching 5000 last year.

Seen today at Croydon station was 993, the one off ex stock K230UB/Custom CB80 with a new white LED desto, replacing the original Hanover unit.

Seen around the traps was a new Scania Higer Touring bodied school charter coach, did not catch the number, but in the high 1300's. It looks like Ventura have reverted to the eye catching coach livery as used before the Grenda takeover (like on the batch of 2011 delivered Scania A30's). Would be nice to see it spread to some of the other school/charter vehicles, such as the ex Buslink Vivo Mercs and the ex Grenda B7R coaches. Just shows how vinyl decals and/ or a lick of paint, can make a big difference in fleet presentation.

There are a batch of these entering the fleet spread around the various depots. Fleet nos are 1394-1401. 1394 confirmed at Hastings.
