I assume no new timetables for M10 and M50 as they will no longer exist. But what about M20 and M30 if they become 320 and 430 respectivelY?

Also I have no record of a 482.
Probably just a typo - maybe Stu meant 483 instead.

With some express routes having gone down the path of 4 characters (e.g. 309X) I wonder if more routes, like the L23 & L28 will get renumbered to something else down the track? Effectively within the CBD area all routes are already limited stops, as buses will only stop at designated places and not "all stops", plus other exceptions to the rule such as 410/420 without an "L" designation.

Typo fixed, apologies.

M10 & M50 will hang around for a bit longer until the tram to Kingsford becomes operational.

Thanks I had been wondering about that. I guess the speculation about the amalgamation of these routes into other routes above got things confused.

On the Transport Info home page there is a new item "Bus service changes for the Inner West and Northern Beaches " about changes on Sunday 9th February but it does not link to anything as yet. No new timetables as yet.
Northern Beaches would probably come under STA.

Latest timetable has tagged the unused Haymarket LR bus stop for the 440 and M10, although nothing shown stopping at it in the next 7 days. Can be seen in both Tripview and Google Maps.

Moore Park Interchange stop still missing (was there until December)

A search found this article https://transportnsw.info/news/2020/bus ... rn-beaches which sets out the changes.
The Northern Beaches changes seem to relate to some minor undefined changes to routes 155, E54, E88 and E89.

I wonder why 476-9 were left out of the timetable changes, or if they are to come separately. I can't imagine any actual route changes, unless they are going to drop the 478 loop in Taren Point or carry out the plan to extend the 477 towards the City or Bondi.

Well another expansion from my previous post regarding the 487 since the Bankstown<>Roselands route is getting hit as well. Looks like the only buses staying on Canterbury Road will be those early morning 487s that bypass Roselands, meaning that the King Georges Rd/Payten Ave stop can kiss the 487 goodbye.

Bankstown > BK Hospital > Canterbury Rd > Mount Ave > Violet St > Roselands SC > Canarys Rd > Canterbury Rd > Campsie > Canterbury
Just forever waiting for a Volgren Optimus, let alone a Volgren Optimus Volvo B9TL, to cruise by Edensor Park...
Formerly of Bankstown City until that council amalgamation...

Looks like the 410 will continue operating between Marsfield (Waterloo Park) and Hurstville after 9 February, with the Hurstville-Burwood and Burwood - Marsfield short workings remaining, along with some oddball short workings, e.g. Mon-Fri:
16:35 ex Hurstville to Top Ryde
16:59 ex Hurstville to Concord Hospital

I dont believe this was ever planned for this lot of changes.
If this is to happen and I am saying IF, it is more likely to happen with upcoming M10 and M50 changes as the result of the Light Rail changes.
If the 410 is split, the northern section would most likely go to the STA as it is totally outside region 6 and this would need some negotiation before being implemented.

The M10 & M50 will be included with the light rail announcement and may include rumoured changes to 410, 436, L37, 439 & L39.

The split up of the 410 could also remain 100% with TSA and become an anomaly like the M20 (soon to be 320).

Thanks Stu. If the northern section of 410 were to run Burwood - Macq Park then it could still be Region 6 territory in a sense. Just need to find it a new route number. Maybe 459 given it did overlap in significant parts?

What are the rumoured changes to 436/L37/439/L39? Just additional buses coming off M10, or something more drastic like a mini region review in itself?

^ Maybe '510' could be chosen as this number was retired last year.

The 436, L37, 439 & L39 are going to possibly have some kind of revamp, maybe some minor changes to route directions.

Given the expected L3 opening in March, wouldn't we be expecting an April announcement for changes to routes such as M10 and M50 to allow time for the entire new network to bed down. It is good to see they are actually going to be using that Haymarket bus interchange in a couple of weeks though.

Probably in conjunction with the new school term timetables which came into force today although I cant see any difference between the new one and the previous school term timetable. So probably some rostering/scheduling changes may have been included.

Until about 3 months ago the T80 was a majority 2013 built registered and commissioned 1200-1300 series numbered Volvo B7RLE Custom CB80 rostered route with a few CDI double deckers on peak hour short working runs that start or terminate at Bonnyrigg T way station depending on time of day this changed a few months ago when the deckers started to make more appearances in Liverpool during peak times

Note most of the CB80s used on the T80 would have been registered in the weeks leading upto the Transit Systems takeover of region 3

So any bus contractors have hubodometers these days?
I saw a Busabout unit with one a few years ago out Liverpool way.
Ahh the days in Parramatta in the 90s when all the Westbus B10Ms teeming there had them.

Artics commenced operating in service in mid January, they haven't yet been allocated to any particular trip as yet, maybe that will happen this week.

1113 1114 and 1300 have all lost the Carcity adverts at Busways Penrith 1113 retains a Red patch above drivers cab. I thought 1300 was a new Volgren when I first saw her she looks immaculate.

1134 still retains 1140 fleet number on the side and 1134 on the front and Rear.

Busways have working Real time passenger information displays on 1300 aswell on the 775 and they've also reprogrammed all the displays on the Mercedes/Custom buses

I forgot The Entrance Red Bus Services still have them. They are attached directly to the axle without any bracket held on by the axle studs which is unusual.
