WA is a can of worms. Labor should have a completely unlosable election on their hands... However voters may not like the idea of any government having such a strong grip on power and vote for the Liberals or minority parties to 'balance out' their vote in the Upper House. Very interesting times ahead.

China is mainly engineers in government 26.40 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5LO4vVF234

This is very interesting as many opposition parties believe they have the majority and they don’t https://www.youtube.com/results?search_ ... +worldwide although Trump was in power and thought everybody loved him.

As most countries have hawks and doves and there have been times for both over the years it seems to me that protectionism often leads to war.

My question is if Australia became a customer of China buying 20 high tech TBM would it be seen by them and others as weakness or a way to move on and restore normal trade.

Just thinking if Putin built his own Nord 2 ship instead of tanks he could finish the job and improve the lot of the Russian public.

Someone on TV said that Labor had found SCOMO's weak spot with him spitting the dummy and as I drove down the coast I found myself laughing at him behind the wheel of a car.

I think his comments on identity politics are on the mark. Too many of us want to divide ourselves up into categories, and it's only driving people farther apart.

After watching this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6vrIa3EKog I felt so sorry for Merkel with Nazis on one side Greens on the other and America stopping them from getting gas from Russia.

Would China and North Korea leave Taiwan and South Korea alone because they are the best chip makers because I do not think you can push people to be smart. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7t0qts4L6s

There are calls from some parts to make China pay for COVID 19 which reminds me of the end of WW1 (which I believed the Spanish flu stopped) and they set up the league of nations where everyone added up their cost and sent Germany the bill which was ten times what they could ever pay.

Been thinking about Liberal v Labor on housing and where Labor will encourage low or no declared income the Liberal will encourage people to work as hard as possible resulting them getting it all back in tax and owning a house which they will have to sell anyway to provide for their old age but these are just my thoughts.

Looking at all the rebuilding needed in Palestine particularly with the lack of space, I wonder if America just printed $10b and built the Parrahub building to house all the homeless, it would forever stop the argument over who was where first.

I interpret “an eye for an eye” like most people as the MOST retaliation and with this in mind this is simply an idea that would make America great again in the eyes of the Muslim world.

No matter what you try and do, the argument as to who was there first would NOT be resolved by Parrahub. The argument as to who was there first goes back centuries and is unlikely to ever be resolved.

The Palestinians don't want compromise. They want Israel gone, that's their goal, and we know Israel won't grant that "request" hence the never ending tale of conflict.

And Israel wants compromise ?? The history of the region to me says compromise is the only way this will get sorted. But oops I forgot, the Likudnik Prime Minister of Israel ran into some difficulty in holding a majority at their last election. Nothing like poking the fire when you're not doing too well politically.

They gave up Gaza to them and they repay them by launching rockets from there as a base (Hamas).
They want Israel, the only functional industrial democracy in the region, wiped of the Earth.

Parramatta Council deserve to be voted out for screwing up the traffic. Not least of the problems is the ban on right turns at Horwood Pl/George St since George St went two way.

Interesting comment now that she's gone. She didn't seem to cut through but I don't really know why or if anyone could do any better? State Labor are still strongly hated for the dithering on the NWRL especially? Surely we need to move on rather than give the Coalition a blank check, or should we get a different opposition.

Maybe that they are focused on SJW bullsugar instead of more important stuff. They've become an agent for the watermelon party -greens.

I have a feeling Jody McKay's resignation will mean bad to worse with an even more left leaning woke obsessed opposition to the point of being a greens party by proxy.
Now we'll have the Liberal Dictatorship with their repugnant changes to Sydney for years to come.
Old Labor at least kept Sydney unmolested.

^ Swift, I feel that you might be completely wrong here. Perhaps just optimistic thinking but I think you are too negative here. Jodi McKay never made an impact as opposition leader, happy to give another a go.
