That's a nice one. You think no one's watching it but I bet it's someone visiting a friend that always sits by that one window, while talking and looking out the window every few minutes.

I could hear talking coming from a house. You're probably on the money :) .
Here's one captured in the background of a pic I took in 1987 and a couple more from 2020.
33 years between taking photos of a yellow Holden with a 3.3  .

Given the requirements around historic rego and if it is up to it as a daily driver then regular plates would be good. I would think that maybe Service NSW should be able to provide number plates that are in the old format. I wonder why they can't be reused.

I think I have heard that once older format plates are turned in, that's it, they don't get issued again.
I used to loath seeing modern format plates go to cars that never carried them in their era, but I have gone 180° on it as it's a sign the owner has made the effort to get a classic back on the road, especially when it had likely been faithfully restored like this one, giving it a life anew.

Here's a Hot Wheels model I bought at K Mart the other day. It's a special series featuring Japanese cars of yesteryear. I like these Skylines from the early 80s with the EFI 2.4 sixes so I bought it. They also had a Datsun 1200 ute but I wasn't a impressed with the accuracy and the wheel placement of that one. Thus one's nicely done.

Saw this earlier in the week, maybe someone can tell me what it is. One of my friends thinks it's an early model ford and it is LHD however I didn't manage to catch a front facing photo in time so I'm unable to tell what it is, one of yous may be able to figure it out tho.

Somehow I doubt that's a daily on regular registration.
It looks like a rolling exhibit.

A very interesting car was this 2015 Nissan LEAF that was owned by the mayor of Dubbo City Council (before amalgamating with Wellington Shire Council).....

Don't use those scrubbing brushes at car washes they scratch your paint work.

I never knew the single headlight versions could have the V8 option. I always presume them to have the 2.6L overhead cam six. I guess there were rare instances of the dual headlight Super Deluxe getting the six?
These cars really were ahead of the game having an OHC six or alloy block V8, and while short lived, no doubt influenced the main competitors to introduce more advanced features sooner than they otherwise may have.

It's not my P76 - the funny part is this P76 belongs to a local panel beater/painter!

So did Super Deluxe have the dual headlights as standard?
Funny how executive trim level on Aussie built cars from the late 80s was essentially the base model. Not so here it seems.

And he did not use the foam brush either! I love the automatic washing bays at this car wash - it's the first car wash in Dubbo as you travel north on the Newell Highway.... was just there today myself as our Toyota Camry needed a much wanted bath!

That's good,
Car washes like that are good to get away to from the dramas in ones life and spend a few hours there, well I sometimes do.

The only places that I can get away from the dramas of life are car shows (we have a monthly show of classic/vintage cars) and truck shows (a bit of a shame the Golden Oldies Truck Show was canned for this year - but, then again, they did the right thing with the show regarding the whole Coronavirus thing)... the Brisbane Truck Show and the HCVAQ Vintage Truck Show are next on my list of truck shows (both on the same weekend that I will be in Brisbane!! How fluky is that!)

Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk - the mother of all hi-po SUV's - 522kW of power and 868Nm of torque from a massive 6.2 litre supercharged Hellcat Hemi V8.... if you have seen the Charger and Challenger Hellcats, you would recognise this engine

A shame they are full of quibbles. I spoke to a woman who drives a similar Jeep with that body and she claimed it had set her back $28,000 from problems when I said what great performers they are.

I saw a white AP6 Valiant V8 (yes, that's the name, the 8-cylinder models back then were simply called Valiant V8 and in their own luxury tier, rather than Regal/VIP etc.) outside Bunnings in Ringwood yesterday. Another uncommon car I saw outside Aldi two minutes after seeing the Valiant was a white "wide body" Holden Apollo (XV10 Camry in Toyota-speak).
