By reducing the air pressure to 11 psi via exhaust valves on launch shafts as the train approaches it not only saves money with reduced tunnel resistance but it saves making such a strong nose like here at 6.20 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_Sa1YHmxog

This 747 can carry 139t https://www.airbridgecargo.com/en/page/37/boeing-747-8f and would be faster loading/unloading with the nose opening and great for international freight.

As there are about 20,000t per day on trucks going between Sydney and Melbourne overnight it equates to over 100 of these planes or 10,000t of fuel where Japanese maglev trains could do the trip 8 hours faster than trucks overnight using electricity and making the Japanese maglev in a single 11psi tunnel viable Sydney to Melbourne with passing stations at Canberra and Albury.

This is a very interesting video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEE4bSWBHdQ
I wonder if Parramatta council uses LOS or VMT with Parrahub

I put this comment on these fast rail sites.

While I believe in cooperation between countries to develop a modified Japanese maglev that has an international standard guideway for ISO carriages and overnight container trains, competition between 10 separate contractors from the ten launch shafts between Parrahub and Canberra would not only keep the cost down but allow smaller players to innovate.

At present there are over 50,000 flights per year between Sydney and Melbourne @100 tonne jet fuel per flight = 5,000,000 tonne per year.

Also at present there are 1,000,000 trucks between Sydney and Melbourne @ 0.5 tonne diesel each trip = 500,000 tonne per year.

The very clever lady from partner said on ABC about Scott Morrison not being invited to the climate change summit by Boris Johnson because of our climate change attitude that it will be mainly on what our coal customers rather than us which I had not thought of. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-03-18/ ... t/13257978

I saw a lady on ABC say buildings should be designed so fresh air is drawn in like the Parrahub units. https://www.abc.net.au/news/health/2021 ... /100444884
