Re: Sydney Metro - Tallawong to Bankstown
There are a few theories as to what might happen with the available paths that will become available on the City Circle, none have been officially confirmed. City Circle will have no new overall paths, a realignment is set to provide services to Liverpool via Regents Park and an uplift in services ...

Re: Rail Observations 2024
He said it wasn't because of trackwork; it was because of testing for the forthcoming service to Sydenham. It's deplorable that the whole line had to be shut down because of testing for a new section. I presume they have to trial full service between Tallawong and Sydenham. Of course, with the test...

Not really, change of government has meant a change in perspective and stakeholders have made particular requests which have led to the latest changes.

Re: Bus Observations 2023
M91 is actually one of the planned future rapid bus routes so do not expect that at all. Transit Systems have also integrated it much better into their R3 operations than the cluster that was U-Go in R10.

Re: Sydney Metro West announced
Burwood have a mix of express, limited stops and all stops services, plenty of trains. Why add already crowded western line services in the peak hour which were removed from such mid-tier locations like Burwood, Rockdale and Granville in the first place. Strathfield is one minute away for any Interc...

Re: Ferry Observations 2023
if only they they could show this sort of info at major railway stations, rather than only where the next train stops. Most regular travellers know the destination / destinations of trains that serve the station they want to go to. If every station were listed, monster display boards A number of tr...

I notice they are taking on weekend rail bus work so they can’t be as hamstrung by shortages as they were earlier.

Re: New Sydney and Outer Metro bus contracts (as from 2020)
There needs to be a balance, there needs to be value from expenditure otherwise it becomes a taxpayer-crunching job which reduces the money available for other areas of government. Money is a scarce resource.

Re: Rail Observations 2023
That sort of thing is always a juggling act. More service for some passengers is a slower trip for others. And the whole purpose of doing what was done in 2013 was so that shorter trip customers don't take up room on services which travel all the way out to Waterfall/Cronulla, making those customer...

Re: New Sydney and Outer Metro bus contracts (as from 2020)
I mean the half dozen routes from region 10 it is now running instead of U-Go. It is only four routes as far as I know plus a number of unknown school routes. On top of that is 920. That is why they are splitting M92. Obviously U-Go couldn’t handle the whole route with Parra being so far away from ...
