Re: Wanted EDSA/DECS BX341E or Leyland
The Leyland Terrier was EDSA 1019. I drove it when it was based at Port Augusta High School.
It no longer has the Leyland P76 motor, I think it is a Perkins diesel now.
Still a bit dear for the bus $12000

Re: Queen Mary 2 in Adelaide
Also the buses did not only go to the city, there was Wine Tours, City Sights, Shopping tours, Glenelg, Wine Centre.
The buses were able to go where the trains could not plus it gave a much more personal services with the tour guides on each bus/coach.

Send the MAN NL 202 diesels to the SA Country area, like Port Augusta, Port Pirie.
They could use them on their services up there.
Just get them out of Adelaide

Re: Premier Jay Weatherill announces O-Bahn upgrade
That's Correct those buses are only on loan from TSA. As for the $160 million dollars. Retire the current MAN NL202's. Replace them with the Scania K230 Series buses for normal route service work. Buy new buses that are made for the O-Bahn either Mercedes Benz or MAN, even if they are made Overseas....

Re: Brisbane Bus Lines new BLK artics
Lets hop DPTI and the Government of South Australia trial these on the O-Bahn, As the current Scania K320's are useless, No power, Body work is crap, Don't handle the hot weather, Diff's blow up, engines blow up. The Scania's are costing more in repairs than they did to build. Come on SA wake up and...

Some of the retired O-Bahn artic buses are making their way over the ACT.
562 left last week and the road trip, from what I hear 566 will also be joining her sister in the ACT.
Great Buses, ACT gain, SA Loss.

Re: ex SouthLink PMCSA bodied Mercedes-Benz O305G
Good luck to the old girl.
This would have been a great trip to do in one of these buses.
As for 1805, it is based out of St Agnes Depot.
There are 3 more on the way to St Agnes to replace the MAN NL202 MkI buses that have now been sold to Light-City Buses.

Re: Is the O-Bahn track nearing the end of life
The Reason for the vibration is the wheel base of the Scania Buses used. If you ride on the Mercedes Benz 0405 (542) there is no vibration as this bus was made for the O-Bahn System. The Scania's are a standard bus that anyone off the street can walk into Custom Coaches and buy. They are not modifie...
