Re: Rex Law's Redline Coaches
This was very likely Redline No 60..... It has just struck me that there was no particular chassis designation/identification applied to the near two dozen new CKD VK41L chassis that Redline rear-engine modified and assembled at West End. This Denning was one of many constructed on those chassis.......

Originally powered with a GM/4V53 but later converted to Scania D8.

In the early 70s, the Perth depot was in Barrack Street. Here is a Denning posed in a park (maybe Kings Park): http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc90/systemimprover/slwa_b3096610_1.jpg I've just realised, as Redline's Perth passenger depot/sales office was at 68 Barrack Street, it's likely that Pa...

Re: Rex Law's Redline Coaches
The coach pictured appears to feature one of the Denning/Seddon chassis, making it originally Redline No 76 or 77 so far as I can make out.
With frontal rebuild by Superior of course.
Robert would be able to confirm its identity no doubt.
I'd suggest it's a tad too far gone to consider restoration.

Any time frame for when the book might be out, or is it still a work in progress ? Australian Road Passenger Transport History Re-Written Again
I very recently noticed this 2016 Australasian Bus & Coach magazine article by Gordon Lowe, published under the heading "Reflection: 90's Greyhound," as a tribute to and in memory of the late John Wadmore. The article was a copy of Wadmore's 1991 speech at NATCON in Cairns, titled ‘The...

Great proposal to honour the Watt brothers...Sheriff, John and Jim, not to mention Sheriff's son Barrie, in such a way. I'd certainly back the move. This was Redline's second Tiger Cub, No 10, being very similar to the later No 14, which was constructed minus the mud-guards. I remember very clearly ...

Hi Industry and bjg154
The original features point to it possibly being ex Redline, certainly a VK41 REC Viking as evidenced by the rear hub....
There's nothing I see that eliminates the likelihood that it's ex-Redline No 60.

Hi Glenn This is a Vic Hayes photo of what I understand to be Redline (53).
