Re: Political discussion

I have heard there are quite a few conservatives among generation Y sick of the BS feed to them by teachers and
through high school and millennials too.

I do know millennial conservatives exist, but the hoi polloi among them are left leaning unfortunately.

Re: Private Bus Observations 2020

Usual hysterical Sydney professional complainers who love to whinge for a pastime. Just ignore the oxygen soakers and build that depot. They're not real big picture thinkers are they? Imagine how they'd handle living in Stan St Willoughby which is a pure residential zone surrounding a bus depot. The...

He was at his peak here though he did great stuff much later like Ransom and Signs. Here he is in a deleted scene from Lethal Weapon which he was doing at the time. Note the big square American sedans that were still prolific then -same mechanical package as our Fairlane, though with a full chassis ...

The blatant favoritism toward leftists on that farce of a programme by that filth ridden left wing outfit the ABC (who make me sick) Q&A. Anyone defending Trump in tonight's episode is given far less opportunity to speak than anyone pushing the left wing liar's narrative. AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS IDEO...

Re: CBD & South East Light Rail

I drove along Anzac Pde for the first time in months last night city bound and it was an odd sight seeing people sitting on benches at the stops in the middle of Anzac Pde Kingsford at night time. I was a bit concerned at the lack of trams I saw throughout the length of the journey through Kenso. Th...

Re: AES Ticket Validators

They were used far too long by the STA. They were great...in 1990 but in the 2010s? They were getting problematic and they even resorted to acquiring used consoles from Brisbane just to keep going with this system that should have been replaced not long into the 2000s. Thank goodness for contactless...

I don't mind Beclawat windows on some of them. At least they don't give you tinnitus every time a train passes at speed.

I'm glad he didn't succumb to his heart attack. Sorry to say, but his latest wife is not a patch on Stevie when it comes to striking looks that imprint in your mind. Not bad looking but kind of generic. His latest partner, however looks good as middle age is upon her in that later photo. Lindsay is ...

Stevie is a nice woman's name. She's certainly intense to look at and in her performances in the band. A face you don't forget.

Good song Big Engine Mechanic. I can't help associating it with the NSW tourism campaign which used that song in their ad in the 1990s. Those Fleetwood Mac covers do look great, particularly the second one. I like how the genius behind the band Lindsay Buckingham is standing quietly in the backgroun...

I have indeed seen that taillight cluster with the Coachmaster lookalike front. I'd say the round style was a mark II version.

I never imagined I'd one day look back on the year 2000 a a blast from the past. I remember despairing how boring it was becoming in 1991!! Now when I see Sydney in 1991 on youtube, it looks positively vintage now. It might as well be 1977!
