Hydrogen storage.

As battery cars are heavy and need many thousands of charge points I had this thought. At every town drive a 3m diameter hole 20m deep then place vertically a 2.5m x 14m plastic tank then temporarily fill the tank with water simultaneously as concrete is placed in the gap with a cap of 6m this can b...

Re: Parrahub and Sydney to Melbourne Maglev via Canberra

Federal Labor wants to reduce inflation with productivity.

Parrahub would double the availability of homecare workers without a drivers licence.

Sydney to Melbourne freight sidings with overnight container trains that carry far more freight faster than any trucks.

To allow Australia and the rest of the world to return to normal the common sense thing would be for Germany should turn on Nord 2 and spend the increased defence spending on greening Germany. When I saw DHL bought out Cameron https://www.channelnews.com.au/dhl-buys-cameron-group-in-billion-dollar-aussie-logistics-push/ it made me check out my numbers again and found I had made a huge mistake saying overnight trains would earn $20,000,000 per night when it should have been only $2,000,000...

They are still talking about HSR which is uneconomical as it cannot take overnight freight trains like maglev. The only problem at the moment is Amtrak doesn't own any of the infrastructure so they have to deal with the stubborn freight operators Container trains are making big money in the US and ...

Still no action on Birchgrove oval yesterday only a sign to say they will replace the fence so maybe they are not going to use the incrementally immersed tunnel.

As diesel prices have soared so have prices in the bush which makes living in Sydney, Canberra, Albury and Melbourne just as cheap even with higher house prices.

At least you have many services, shops and jobs.

A lady who ran a tyre place at Batemans bay said that she loved the low profile tyres because when people hit a pothole they often had to buy a new wheel too. Also at a mine I saw the single drive semis easily get up the gravel road empty where the bogie ones could not. I love the real tyres on my H...

My dad had a shop and used to say the customer calls the shots and as most Germans would like things to go back to normal they should tell America to butt out and turn on Nord 2 which will then give them the power over Putin. PS All the "experts" on TV say there is no quick fix but all Ger...

Re: Ferry Observations for 2022,

Strangely enough, there is a move to do that - remove the Cahill, put Circular Quay underground and demolish one of the wharves. Yes I read about that but rather than spending heaps on making more people space on the south side for the yuppies it may just be better to add another 20m to the overcro...

Re: Ferry Observations for 2022,

As it would cost too much to move the Cahill expressway perhaps the wharfs could be upgraded one at a time while creating more space next to the station by about 20m even with a roof with solar panels.

It has been said if it is deep enough for long enough it turns to stone which is the easies...
