Following on from my previous post, search under Photos SA section for CMCMANUS parts 8 and 74 for pics of Slattery's depot, as described above.

Re: Bus Depots Of Private Bus Companies Before MTT Took over?
Sorry for bringing up an old post. My understanding is Slattery's had multiple bus depots, and that there at one stage was a depot on Wilpena Avenue (Klemzig) that multiple operators once used. Can anyone confirm any locations? Thanks in advance I believe that Slattery's only had the one Depot, whi...

Re: Bus Depots Of Private Bus Companies Before MTT Took over
I believe the first photo in the above group was actually Transways number 17, they had two both Leyland Leopards. Can’t remember the fleet number of the second unit. Both units had electric gearshift the same as 700 series MTT buses. I actually drove for Transway when the bought these two buses. W...

I don't think that we can rely on the proposed route numbers that appear to be out of context. remember that is says on the Parliamentary Paper ... Outer South Contract Area – Scenario 2 (routes and route numbers subject to change following community consultation process) It's hard to blow a path th...

Definitely NOT Greta Thunberg. I strongly believe that she is a puppet. BUT BUT she took a ride in a boat to avoid plane to the USA. I wonder what material the boat was made out of, and how the material for the boat was made?!! But hey, Greta is oh so wonderful. Cough UR cough cough cccough I do so...

tonyp,
Could you please outline why you think single leaf doors aren't good? I am trying to understand the issues here, but am unsure as to your reasoning.
Thanks in advance,
Paul

Quoting from above … "In my opinion, that's some hair-brained pole placement there - you don't put poles right in front of dedicated standing spaces." The "hair-brained placement" is in fact opposite a door, where people naturally congregate. Anyone short could not reach the overhead straps, or thro...

Thanks Trevor, this is fantastic. Incidentally before the buses were repainted, was it common to see a former private bus of one operator on the route of another former operator with all that variety in one depot? Speaking purely from my personal recollection, I believe that it was not very common....

Re: [Jul/Aug 2018] SA Transport observations
Honestly, the comments you blokes make about Bustech buses are, quite frankly, puerile - if you have genuine criticisms of their products, then argue your points out, in a reasonable and well constructed manner. Ok then, how about the air con being pre-set to 22 degrees and the driver is unable to ...
