How can you tell on the app where the shift comes from?

How did they ever catch the right bus before that!?
The problem was when plain buses were used on M routes. Passengers would be watching for a red bus, and could miss the service if it wasn't. Not just pensioners either.
All the more reason to get rid of it!

Re: Who operates buses in St Kilda and Brighton?

Is there a "culture" in Melbourne where private operators have multiple depots of each depot having their own set of routes, even though other routes may pass close by or share termini?

I'm sure they, and all the Adelaide Metro operators, know exactly how many buses they need and take off road vehicles and retirements into account

Are you sure? I saw all those buses heading north towards Elizabeth Saturday morning, but spotted 1217 on a St. Agnes shift this morning.

It's not hard to just put a quick one liner about what the bus is, where it is, and where it's been. But then again some people are too lazy to do that

Re: Knoll faces Liberal Party revolt on bus cuts

You have overlooked 2 important facts-firstly they have to walk from the Flinders Medical Centre several hundred meters to the new station, they then have to wait for their train, which will only run at 30 minute frequencies. I mentioned a generous transfer allowance and showed that it was still qui...

Re: Knoll faces Liberal Party revolt on bus cuts

A G22X from Stop 27 Main South Rd at 8:02 in the current timetable takes 37 minutes to reach Stop W2 in King William St.

"The train journey will be 24 minutes"

Even if you add a 10 minute walk and transfer in, a passenger will reach North Tce before they would on the bus if they take the train.

This new journey will take them up to 30 minutes longer-so much for Mr Knolls-faster, direct services. You keep saying this, but I can't work that out from the information released? Where are the timetables you are using to support this? Surely the train has to be quicker than sitting in the Goodwo...
