Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?

Secondly, it's mind-boggling that these cars can light up the dashboard when the car detects it's dark outside but can't figure out to turn on the headlights. To use an old saying, we can put a moon on the moon but can't / still unable fix XYZ issue *sigh*. The dash backlighting on most of the more...

Re: Victorian Bus Observations 2024

Travelled on one of the more recently delivered batch of Scania Hybrids on my regular 901 trips this week, these have the new Volgren Optimus headlamp arrangement, with two round lights in a black housing (with one of them acting as a daytime running light), Ventura(as in bus door manufacturer, not ...

Re: Galston Gorge

I have seen a few trucks get stuck under the bridge near Ringwood Station. It is up to the rental companies to explain to thier customers, the vehicle they are about to hire is taller and watch out for low bridges, also have clearly and easily seen VEHICLE HEIGHT XX METRES stickers affixed in a prom...

Hawthorn winning by 61 points over the West Coast Eagles.
Collingwood losing to Gold Coast by 11 points- I don't think they will get another premiership this year.

Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?

My uncle's recently acquired ex demo Haval H6 has that driver fatigue monitoring, also intervenes if one has a medical episode while driving. A recent quick drive in it reveals it will beep at you over absolutely everything. He recently had the 10,000km service done, and they tried to charge him ful...

Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?

Modern motor vehicles. An old friend bought a current ex demo Mitsubishi Outlander, the new whiz bang generation. It has rear AEB, which helps prevent one from reversing into something or someone, but when you put a trailer on, and try to reverse it, it slams on the brakes and won't go anywhere!!!! ...

Kinetic seem to present their fleet much better than Transdev ever did, those Volvo's and the ex Invicta Scania Smartbuses feel and look like new.

The Victorian Government for investing 4.1 million to replace a scoreboard rather than funding cancer research in it's latest budget. They certainly know where their priorites lie, remember when Dodgy, Dopey Dan sponsored a netball team for 15m before the last state election? And also the Commonweal...

Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?

Been watching Highway Patrol on 7Plus after not seeing it for a while. The attitude of the people pulled up for mobile phone use, speeding and very unroadworthy vehicles absolutely stinks. One of the episodes features a bloke with a Ford Econovan bought new in 1986, it was a bit of a jalopy and gets...

Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?

Yes, the young adults are just as bad, the tradies in particular. They are seen regularly on my daily Maccas coffee run, and they are very rude to the Maccas staff. When they are told they can't get their Big Mac until 10:30 am, they go crazy. My local neighbourhood cafe reopened under new ownership...

Kids on school holidays who are incapable of behaving in a civilised manner in public, mostly teenagers, I saw a security guard marching a kid out for riding a bike inside a busy shopping centre.

Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?

Russel Howcroft on the 3AW Breakfast show and his stupid giggling and laughing. Ross Stevenson is not like he used to be either. Might be switching over the the ABC before too long. Also the new 3AW Drive host, Jacqui Felgate is terrible. 3AW has gone to the dogs since they were bought out by Channe...

Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?

When I was getting my morning coffee at McDonalds this morning, an entitled idiot threw a tantrum, because there was no skim milk, the poor girl told her politely that the delivery had not yet arrived, but the tantrum continued until she was thrown out.

I saw a kid throw a can of coke on the ground rather than put it in the bin that was right next to them.

Re: Rare and interesting car sightings

I have seen many Lamborghini's being driven aggressively by entitled, rich young men, or on the back of a tow truck.
About 4 years ago, I went for a ride in a Lamborghini (birthday gift), and you really had to be a bit of a contortionist getting in and out of it. It was a 2012 Gallardo from memory.

Re: What gives you the S&#T's!?

I ate some Dominos pizza at an end of year work break up and never again- tasteless and you could fold the slices in half at least three times. We requested a Pizza Hut pizza the following year.

The local independent Pizza shop or in an emergency, Pizza Hut are my go-to Pizza places now.
